Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Look closely in the last scene of "Magic Store" when the gang's singing Rainbow Connection. Robin is with Zoot and Dr. Teeth in the Electric Mayhem bus. He can be seen in The Works too!
Yes, there are quite a few Fraggle Rock characters that made appearances, especially those few that also make cameos in the movies.
The Muppet Show, Jim Henson Hour, Muppets Tonight, Animal Show, Muppet Time, Fraggle Rock. The real fan can recognize them all. Wonderful series... just...
Yep, that was Robin. He appeared a few times in that finale. (but his most prominent scene - sitting on Dr. Teeth's shoulder??? - didn't make it into the Disney edited version).
There's more Kermit/Rowlf clips on the A&E SS Biography documentary.
Kermit: "Oh really? So you mean kids all over America will rush off the baseball fields to watch the educational channel?!"
On that baker scene Rowlf counted "nine lightbulbs". Not that I've seen it. It's just been...
EVER NOTICED...
... Fozzie is a bear with a pointy head???!
... in Muppets Tonight, Rizzo usually "flies through the air" next to Clifford? Look at him, you can so often see his legs!
... the new Gonzo puppet has such lame eyes? (I can't stop saying that!)
... Snuffy has no ears...
I apologize for being wrong a few times on the website, and also incomplete (that is not my mistake tho - Mike only puts characters on there if he has a photo of them, and quite a few have no photos). Actually it's a project I kinda stepped off ever since its debut.
Anyway the Beetles'...
I found four different Zoot endings in my TMS episodes.
In my Dutch airings there are a few episodes that have a different Zoot ending - not the "Sax and Violence" clip. Warrick and I found out there are four different ones:
ITV AIRINGS:
- Blue Zoot, hatless, blows sax with ITV logo in...
A tad of news...
I heard that the Muppet toys will come to Belgium in February, March (and probably Holland too). In Belgium, Beaker will be replaced by Rizzo, and Sam by Rowlf; making it a total of 10 characters. Not sure in which exact countries Rowlf and Beaker will be found.
The Entertainer - Piggy (Milton Berle)
Rowlf and Fozzie play English Country Garden (Jaye P. Morgan)
Down Memory Lane - Gonzo (Peter Sellers)
Long Long Ago Medley (Bob Hope)
Act Naturally - Gonzos (Victor Borge)
Jim and Jerry Upside-Down Opera (Beverly Sills)
Fit as a Fiddle (Gene...
Melissa Manchester is also very unfunny. The writers were obviously running out of ideas and the performers weren't in perfect shape either...
Liberace. Well that show was mostly a concert. Something to please the music lovers... :D
Something I read on Tough Pigs, some guest appearances:
(host: ) "Doesn't that give you warts?"
(Kermit: ) "Sure. But I always wear protection."
There was also a Jay Leno appearance about "frogs' "thing" shrinking down" to which Kermit replied: "That's uh, quite a touchy subject. I...
That whole guide is in wrong order - it's taping order, not running order. They didn't even start with "Beginnings".
You're right, Gorg Who Would Be King comes before Honk of Honks; in the latter Junior seems to be on friendly terms with Gobo.
It was indeed a great trilogy... First Junior...
I heard somewhere that due to the immense success of the first movie, number 2 would have some delays... or at least something wasn't ready yet.
Maybe they needed more frogs and dogs and pigs and chickens.
