Hey guys! OK this is really obscure, but I'm looking for the audio from the Labyrinth Read-Along Book. Anybody got it! I'd appreciate it if you emailed it to me@muppetcast.com. I have the Dark Crystal RAB and I'd like to include both pieces in an upcoming episode (like next week).
I've read the first half and decidedly don't like it. I've heard so much about the ending that I may read it all the way through, but in my mind this is Not Good.
Very interesting that I chose to have the crew from The Amazing Comicast on the show this week. I had no idea that Disney was going to turn around within 24 hrs of production and announce their plans to purchase Marvel Comics for a reported $4 billion! Good timing on my part, I guess. But...
You can't go wrong with an episode about Roosevelt Franklin. Thanks BigBirdFan for helping me out with the music for this one! I think it really came together nicely. I also pulled a few clips from YouTube and one from the Sesame Street Old School DVDs. Along with some personal commentary...
Personally I'd be happy if Seth M. decided to call it quits. He's actually a very multi-talented guy, and I'd love to see what other kinds of things (besides cartoons) he would do if he had the time to pursue them. He's a wonderful composer/arranger, and a heckuva singer!
Hey, it would...
Caroll Spinney on Muppet Central? That's interesting. Mr. Spinney is reportedly someone who has almost no use for email; I'm surprised that he would do much on the Muppet Central boards, though he of course is aware of the website and its prominence.
@cheady I think what you're doing is a great idea, but I'm sure you're aware of the pretty vast online resources that already exist. Projects like the Muppet Wiki have been compiled over years' time by dozens, if not hundres, of fans. Even what I do with The MuppetCast, I consider that to be a...
Hey everybody, I need some help. What am I saying, I run a Muppet podcast...of course I need help :) But I'm trying to put together a special episode around Sesame Street's Roosevelt Franklin. The problem is that I don't seem to have much in the way of RF audio. I know he's featured in...
Time for another MuppetCast, eh? This week I had fun getting up close and personal with Ben from The Balcony Puppeteers, a Canadian group who annually huddle into a balcony in Almonte, Ontario, and heckle any and all passers-by. Occasionally they'll perform at the Puppets Up festival, too...
Oh yeah. I forgot it didn't get posted last night. I'll put the show notes together and post it as soon as I get home from work. In the meantime, you can get the direct mp3 here, if you like. Sorry, slight oversight there!
As far as your other issue, Count, I would recommend making sure...
The latest episode of The MuppetCast brings Roger Langridge back for a chat about his recent experiences at Comic Con! We also discuss what it's like to be the person responsible for carrying on the print version of the TV show we grew up with. He mentions the upcoming graphic novel version of...
Hi everyone! I meant to post something in here about last week's show and title it "The Wizard of Oz In About 3 Minutes". But things are picking up at work and I didn't get time. So we'll just make this post cover both shows 119 and 120.
First, wasn't Leslie AWESOME last week! I knew she was...
Hiya! Show stuff's going well, I couldn't be happier. What did you think about the Richard & Frank blooper reel from the Declaration of Independence sketch?
I'm not sure, I'll have to check. I edited out one other narration piece where I mentioned that the, er, "True Groom" was played by actor Sean Bean. Bean is now well-known as having played Boromir in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
And thank you....glad to know SOMEONE got my Monty Python...
