I KNOW! I was thinking about that just yesterday!
Skip Hinnant hosted "YOU WEREN'T THERE", a show all about events in history you missed because you weren't born yet, were out of town, or just weren't paying attention. In one episode, George Washington (Morgan) gave suggestions to Betsy Ross...
Remember Theater in the Dark? It played through Seasons 1 and 2 and showed speech bubbles but not the cast themselves. Lee and Rita performed "No Can Do" in Show 14...
L: "I can't."
R: "You can."
L: "I can't."
R: "You can!"
L: "I can?"
R: "You can!"
L: "I can... I can!... I CAN!"
R: "You can...
Let me see if I can list them all.
AI - aliens nudge each other on the shoulder and whisper "AI!" into the next one's ears. The last one bumps the monolith by mistake. (Didn't something similar happen on Sesame Street?)
ALK - right there in the video.
ALL - and old man’s dinner is interrupted by...
No
Not sure about that, but show 491 sees a sick Steven Gustaferson in bed shouting out, “Measles!” as the word appears over his head.
By the way, the words “ale”, “rum”, and “wine” have all been featured on The Electric Company.
Say, you should check this out. I found it on the Internet Archive. On pages 12 to 14 it contains little synopses of every Electric Company episode from 25 to 60! Tell me if any of those sketches ring a bell.

Here’s another one by Fred Garbers featuring two animated machines made from real photographs. The bigger one asked the smaller one, “What has four wheels and flies?” The small machine pondered this for a while before answering, “A purple grape.” “No,” replies the big one, and asks the question...
Well, at least that’s not as bad as encouraging littering - remember when four guys spelled out the word “litter” on their newspapers and then threw them on the ground? Lucky for them the fourth one was Officer Morgan Freeman, who made them pick the newspapers up.
They've had a long history of doing that. Even way back in the old West, those two were getting into arguments.
J: "Rat!"
L: "Snake!"
J: "Worm!"
L: "Weasel!"
J: "Skunk!"
L: "Dirty dog!"
J: "Pussycat! ... Pussycat?"
Fittingly, that sketch was about exclamation marks!
Meanwhile, Judy was writing a letter to her family. "Dear Mom and Dad and Homer and Beth and Philip and Jonathan and Amy and..." Then Skip made his way into the house. "Are you writing another letter to that crazy family of yours?" "Yes, as a matter of fact, I am," she replied. "Well, don't...
Speaking of ED, here's another ED skit. Skip, Rita, Morgan, and Judy were paratroopers. Skip ordered Rita and Morgan to "Jump!" and they did. "Jumped," remarked Skip both times. Judy, however, misunderstood Skip's order to "Jump!" and jumped rope. Skip threw the rope off the plane and repeated...
"For" and "You" are two frequent sight words on The Electric Company, and they do go well together. Remember the animated segment featuring an opera singer belting out this song? His mouth became the O in the words "for" and "you" when he sang them.
For you my arms are yearning,
for you my...
You still have 18A? Wow! I have 37B downloaded to mine and 69B is available via the Internet Archive. Do you have any other “lost” or otherwise unavailable episodes on your computer?
About a year ago, I mused, "How come Sesame Street has info for just about every episode on Muppet Wiki but its sister show, The Electric Company, doesn't have that many comprehensive guides?" So I started an Electric Company wiki right here...
Okay, does anyone remember this sketch? I've seen the beginning but not the end.
An animated pianist sings, "My dog has fleas, my dog has fleas." The animal by his side quips, "I'm not a dog, I'm a sheep." Now, I don't know how it ends, BUT I have a feeling I know one word involved in there -...
As a burglar, he and Luis Avalos were once sneaking and snooping around a house at night. Luis admired the snazzy curtains and almost botched the heist by sneezing! Eventually, they reached a safe in the house, took some sandwiches out of the safe, and had a snack.
And from there we go to the B&L as Skip times Bayn Johnson and Melanie Henderson on how fast they can say, "Bleached Blonde Blanche blinked in the blinding blizzard." Melanie has the shorter time... until an audience member claiming to be from Mars (Morgan Freeman) volunteers to say it. And...
You want two sounds for the price of one? How about the letters OW? Judy and Skip can testify to that...
Well, whaddaya know?
It's time for the show
The audience is waiting for us, row after row
We're ready, and how
So give them a bow
And let's get on with the show!
They repeat this twice...
