Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
It's not left-handedness that makes you weirdos (though I, a southpaw myself, do admit to being a little eccentric), It's letting this "plot" to take over the world be discussed so long.
Of course, I know it's all in good fun.
Of course, if more of us southpaws can find a high place...
Actually I knew it was Biff (because his hat said so), but Biff wasn't one of the characters I most associated with my childhood watching of Sesame Street, even though others had mentioned him as a fairly major character.
Well, Kermit, Guy Smiley, and even a construction worker all showed up in today's episode (albeit in an older clip), so all you "back in my day" people out there can quit complaining about how you never see these characters and start complaining about how you seldom see these characters.;) :p
Well, what Miss Piggy was doing before stardom has already been defined, by Frank Oz himself. The biography is summarized in the book "Of Muppets and Men." Miss Piggy had a hard childhood, losing her father early. She had to struggle to get to the top, even posing for bacon ads. Another version...
In the unaired "Star Trek" pilot, there was a captain Pike. Scenes from the pilot were later used as flashbacks in one of the episodes.
Of course, when you count all the other captains who have piloted ships other than the main one for each series, or the crew members of the original series...
I think that whoever does the characters, we'll have them, and that's what counts.
Of course, that's if this project ends up happening at all. It's been stalled for so long, I'll look for it when (if) I see it coming.
Of, course, that's what I said about the "Facts of Life" reunion...
Monster Clubhouse was after the live-action real kids clip, which is just after the street story. In other words, it's where the classic monster clips and guest spots have been this season.
I also agree that Monster Clubhouse in moderation is a good thing. Key words: in moderation.
Besides, even if there are six episodes on a Friends DVD, you have to remember that each Sesame Street episode is twice as long as a sitcom episode, and when you factor in the fact that sitcoms have commercials, Sesame Street is almost three times as long.
I agree, it's just not practical...
I'm not really famous. If I were going to be, it would be as a writer. I've had a few (very short) things published on my college campus (including a brief skit that was performed), but that's about it except for a few letters to the editor of the state newspaper, and any idiot can have those...
Note to any right-handers among the anti-terror watch vigilance groups::attitude:
We southpaws are, of course, just joking about this "revolution".:p ...
...Aren't we?

"Disney has reportedlystruck a deal to sell the Anaheim Angels and is involved in negotiations to sell the Mighty Ducks."
Don't know whether this will affect the Henson negotiations, but it might be a sign one way or the other.
Maybe you could add a separate listing of recurring roles played by certain characters:
Role----------------Character-------------Sketches
Dr. Bob-------------Rowlf------------------Veterinarian's Hospital
Alistair Cookie----Cookie Monster------Monsterpiece Theater
As for Alistair Cookie et al, list them if you want, but explain in the margin that this is just one role for a character.
Alistair Cookie...Cookie Monster, when hosting Monsterpiece Theatre.
But if you were actualy trying to get the total number of muppets that have ever appeared (an...
Well, season 34 was probably already "in the can" when it happened, so we'll probably have to wait till next year to see whether they deal with the death or just continue to use the old segments with him on.
People keep mentioning that Grover was once a brownish color. Does anyone have any pictures? If not, could anyone describe the color? Were there any other distinguishing features different from the blue version we all know and love. I've seen the orange Oscar, the haggard-looking Big Bird, and...
Actually, "Hola" is a classic Sesame Street song. I remember...I believe it was Maria and Luis singing it back in the eighties.
And I don't know about you, but I would have been annoyed if they hadn't kept the letter-cookie segments from last season. That's been some of the funniest stuff on...
