Why we need a Muppeteer as California Governor!

Gary Coleman's running? I knew about Larry Flynt and comedian Gallegher (who I sorta thought was dead) were running, but Coleman? I know the Terminator is running, but it at least looks like he's serious about it. Heh, with all the people running, Kermit the Frog himself could run and no one...

    Sad news in the UK...

Agreed, but if this is true, DANG. Beau, you say "the whole UK department." You mean the London offices AND the Creature Shop or were your "sources" unclear?

EM.TV to Sell Muppets to Jim Henson's Children for $89 Million

I don't know what for the future holds for Henson, and I wasn't completely supportive of this buyout, but when I go to ToughPigs and see all that merchandise and DVDs, I'm VERY impressed and think it's a great start. I probably won't even BUY any of it, but hopefully eventually I'll get my hands...

    Victory is Ours!

I'll believe THAT when we actually get a new show where the characters are used on a regular basis. MasterCard commercials won't cut it.

    Victory is Ours!

While I would LOVE for Henson to legally OWN (as in control, manage) the SS Muppets again, they have better things to use that money for. Luke: Exactly, it's Mickey who didn't want the Muppets - his loss though ! Darn straight, at least as of mid-late April. What a ride...

    Victory is Ours!

Well, "victory's been ours" for about a little over a week now, but we'll see how it goes from now. The merchandise is impressive though.

How do MUPPETS SIP liquids through straws?

Why don't they just shell out the money to actually make the puppets drink out of the straws? Cheap-Os... :D

    VH1 200 Pop Icons - Kermit and Piggy #60

While I'm glad Kermit and Piggy made the list, I wish there was better commentary on them. I kind of wish it was just Kermit so maybe the celebrities would talk affectionately about the songs, SS, TMS, etc. just liked theysaid good things about the other fictional characters. Well, it's the...

VMX and KSY nominated for Emmys

Well, here's my opinion, and I hope I don't get linched (sp?) for this but, KSY was OK but don't deserve anything. As for the VMX song, well, I thought it was the corniest part of the whole movie (for reasons beyond me), but I've only heard the Simpsons song, but don't remember it. So good luck.

    Countdown on Dateline

Well, the two top Muppets at #60 as opposed to #160 is pretty good in my opinion, so I think it's fair. As for Dr. Phil, maybe in a few years he'll be an icon, but not yet. Heck, you might as well put Simon Cowell on there. They on the verge, but not quite! :D And Oprah at #1. Hmm, I don't...
