HOLLYWOOD In a world as perilous as the one we now live in, it's nice to know Big Bird is alive and well.
Of all the things that folks around the globe routinely criticize America for --- too much violence, junk food or money --- "Sesame...
I'm off-topic too but CONAN RULES!!! :grouchy: :excited:
And yeah Letterman had the week off anyway, just like he did the week of 9/11 interestingly enough. What timing...
I have to say, this is one of the most, uh, interesting stories I've heard. Detroit, Cleveland, parts of Canada, and of course New York, just suddenly losing power? Not a tragic story, thankfully, but it was weird seeing Times Square, Empire State Building, Lower Manhattan, and the rest of NYC...
Karen Prell, You RULE! You remember that Fraggle you did? No no, the yellow one! No, not Bert. No, the one with the red hair. Nah, that's Scooter. I'm talkin' bout the one that's gotta sorta Pippi Longstocking thing goin' on. Red, that's her name! She was AWESOME!
I'm crazy 'cause I rehearse...
As for the Chaplin studio, the only thing they seem to use it for is the Henson Recording Studio, which seems to get a lot of use.
You're right, they don't really need the studio, but it must be goooood to look at.

Yeah, I heard about it just flipping through the channels and saw it on the "Fox Report." I was pretty surprised I have to say, and it seems like we're losing an icon or two every other week. Heck, this summer we've lost Gregory Peck, David Brinkley, Katharine Hepburn, Buddy Ebsen, Barry White...
A Jim Henson action figure. Boy, they aren't kidding around with these toys are they? I mean Thog, the Newsman, and the Man himself, wow. Next thing you know, Frank Oz will have one.
So who basically owns the rights to "Bambaloo"? Would it be YG-EM.TV or Henson? And, being as Australian children's show, I would imagine all the characters speaking in an Australian accent (if so that I'd gotta see :) )?
Not to change the subject too much, but what is this "Bambaloo" thing? Is this the project they did and/or doing with Yoram Gross-EM.TV?
So for Henson shows currently in production, it's just this and possibly Animal Jam?
Of Henson's UK shows, isn't "The Hoobs" the only one still currently in production? Aren't the only Henson shows on air right now that and Animal Jam in the US?
Ditto. VVVERY nice, Luke. Need to explain the EM.TV saga to someone and can't say it without having a lunch break? Hand out this article. And it does have a good perspective about what Henson should do next.
Once again, good job Luke. :zany:
