My other suggestion for getting fanfiction.net to put the fandoms you want up is to get the word out. Try and find other people to rally support for your cause. Not just here, but at ffnet itself. I posted the following to my profile, so that if anyone comes to my profile page, they will know...
Let us know how 'Meet the Robinsons' was. I've been kicking about buying a copy. I love the coffee addicted woman in that with those coffee patches. Hehehe. Reminds me of ... me!
Actually, my last DVD was a version of 'Gulliver's Travels' (Not the one with Ted Dansen), but with some other...
I think what creeps me out is that they are making 'Twilight' into a movie. That just sends me into permanant freak out mode because I read the first three books and while the first book was okay, I really did not like the last two.
I'm a big time 'Harry Potter' fan, and this whole idea that...
You and Redsonga are absolutely right, there is nothing flawless and unless those key words are used, no one would be able to find those stories. I have already submitted my suggestions to fan fiction net and am really glad that I was able to sit down and write them out. You're right though...
Good to read that I'm not the only one who does that. I saved the wrappers to the Wonka bars my friend sent me from the US, and somewhere I have some wrappers to Russian chocolate bars that my pen frineds there sent me during my teen years. When I first moved to Germany, I saved a lot of the...
Actually, people can find the fiction rather easily through the search function, but nobody ever uses it. Of course the catagory would be a lot better and easier to find stuff than through the search function.
I am going to start getting people rallied behind getting the section for 'Fraggle...
When I first read the top of this thread, I almost started to panic, Fozzie Bear is leaving? I was really stumped, so I came in and had a look. I'm glad that Fozzie Bear is not leaving and that the merging of threads has happened here. There's no point in oodles of threads of the same kind...
I would guess that Ilikemuppets probably did try them to affirm my initial assertion about them. They were white, with weird red tip, and they were looked like white skinny pieces of chalk. ;) I'd have to find this old friend from school who actually ate chalk and inquire. Sort of the old...
I know how that is, Sgt Floyd, I have to have something going on around me when I write, otherwise I don't get anything done because the silence sometimes creeps me out. I guess I do multitask to some extent. :) Of course, if it's a song I like to sing, then I start singing and my writing...
Never heard of it being out, but I would bet when the movie comes out, they will have more merchandise than one could throw a stick at. Here's hoping at any rate. If someone does see a picture of it, post a link. I'd be interested in seeing it too.
I don't know, I have tried that by doing simple arithmatic on 'Brain Jogging' whilst watching the Muppet show, and I end up getting lower scores than my friend's 9 year old daughter, which I probably get when I have all my brain cells with me.
Of course, the great Muppet Multitasker...
Somewhere - Barbara Streisand
Yeah, guys I used to be a huge fan of George Strait, back when I was a pre-teenager. I sort of remained a fan until after 'Pure Country' came out. Then all his music started sounding the same to me. Even my husband, who knows nada about country music noticed a...
OK, back on topic.
What silly observations have you guys made? :D We could even call them Uncle Traveling Matt Moments if you want. Just be careful around staircases. :)
I do know how hard moderating is, and that was what I was trying to convey in my last posting. I am an administrator of a fan site and have been working at it for the last four years. Our forum is not as vast as this one, but it doesn't matter, I've literally put in hours of work on the forum...
