Muppet Show DVD season box sets announced

Sorry but you are wrong. Disney (or should I say the Muppet Holding Company, a subdivision of Disney) did buy the past productions of the Muppets (with a few rare exceptions). They own almost all of the Muppets works, they bought the past prodocution catalog of works the Muppet have done...

Muppet Show DVD season box sets announced

I hope we get the original openings, the two pilot episodes, and encluding the "UK skits" along with all 24 episodes from season 1. Interviews, commentaries, documentaries (like of Muppets and Men), original promos, still gallaries and more would also be totally awesome. I am excited! No matter...

    TMS DVD Campaign needs you!

Yes, the biggest challenge is behind us, but it is not over. The "get Muppet TV on dvd" campaign site will continue to cover the development of the season sets, bringing you all the information on release details and product features until all 5 seasons of the Muppet Show are out. We also will...

Muppet Show DVD season box sets announced

Only 40% (less than half) of the Muppet Show episodes were released by TimeLife. You may have some duplicate episodes but there are episodes you don’t have. Also, it may be awhile until all the seasons are released and those DVDs will tide you over until they are. Third, you can always sell your...

Confusion at the end of Muppets Take Manhattan

Now that we've debated the reality of the Muppet movies, I still have one more question about MTM that is contained within the film itself and not the whole muppet universe.

Muppet Show DVD season box sets announced

TVShowsonDVD.com is a great site, but just cause they said it does not make it any more (or less) true, they are just a TVDVD fansite. Their only source for the information on TMS dvds is this post, so them saying it does not back this information up any more or less. It is this exact...

Confusion at the end of Muppets Take Manhattan

Here is how I think the productions workm I have not listed them all just for time, but most of the specials could be real events of the "real" Muppets (most of which are also proformers who act in movies; whereas others show them as them): The Muppet Movie - The "real" Muppets present a movie...

How long have people been here?

I lurked for about a month or two, and then I joined in July 2004. But I've been a Muppet Central visitor since the pre-"Muppets From Space" days.

Confusion at the end of Muppets Take Manhattan

I agree with your logic except for one thing: I would consider The Great Muppet Caper as the Muppets playing characters and not "muppet reality". First they say this is a movie and referance it as a movie several times, and in the begining song say they are playing reporters. Second, Kermit and...

    TMS DVD Campaign needs you!

To have 5 fully loaded unedited box sets of The Muppet Show and 1 fully loaded unedited box set of Muppets Tonight on my shelf is the dream we have. If every 4 months they put another one out starting next fall (2005) all 6 of these sets could be out by fall '07. That's not too bad. They could...

Confusion at the end of Muppets Take Manhattan

I was watching The Muppets Take Mamhattan today, and something I noticed many times hit me again and I thought maybe some other fans could share their 2 cents on it too. When they put on Manhattan Melodies at the end, the musical seems quite fun for the audiance, and the audiance seems to love...

When will Muppets Wizard of Oz come out?

It is planned to air on The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC in the spring 2005(probally in May). They will re-air it on Disney or ABC-Family aswell sometime after the primire. Their will be a DVD release afterwardslater, sometime in the spring/summer. It is unsure if it will be released on...

    TMS DVD Campaign needs you!

As many of you may have heard, The Muppet Holding Co has started plans for Muppet Show Season Sets! Being the stage of production they are at now it will probally be a year (or more) off. A nice way to celebrate the 30th anniversary in 2006 would be to get these sets. Now although this may seem...

Rumor: Disney to release Muppet Movie DVD

Yeah, Kermit "hosted" the Muppet Christmas Carol menus the same way: I really wished they were both in widescreen though. Maybe we'll get commentary and behind the scenes on this like the other 2 disney releases.

Rumor: Disney to release Muppet Movie DVD

This is great news to see Disney is working on Muppet DVDs with the classic programs. I think we may want to start sending letters asking for widescreen releases of the films before it is too late. Even though I own the Columbia/Tri-Star DVDs (in widescreen 7 full) I really don't want to see...

Tell me about the last episode "Change of Address"

Maybe one of the single-disk 3-episode DVDs from HIT will have these three episodes. Kinda like "How it all began" showed the starts of the Fraggles; this would show the ending of the Fraggle show. (One of the bonus features could be the post-show episode "Finding New Jobs")

Here are the cleanest versions I could get my hands on of any of the pictures for Muppets Wizard of Oz. Help yourself, or just enjoy viewing them if you havn't seen them yet. If someone with the issue of TV guide could do a better scan please do. Muppet Wizard of Oz Pictures...
