    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

You didn’t have a stroke and neither did he. Take it from somebody that lived through one. Maybe Trump had gas, but not a stroke.

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

True, speech wise, Obama he ain’t. But if this happened during Obama’s watch, I don’t know if he would’ve handled it any differently. I feel for Any Del. Three weeks ago, an older friend at my church lost his mom. She was 101. The virus just started to spread, and they had to cancel the viewing...

Have you ever been to Disney World?

On our honeymoon, we were there for 12 days. A good chunk of that time was spent meeting characters. Character meals we’re a massive deal. we ate with characters at Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, and they were okay (the food was okay, but average). But the best time was at Liberty Tree Tavern...

Have you ever been to Disney World?

I was that age I went into the Haunted Mansion. I wasn’t scared out of my wits, I was more fascinated with the ghosts, screams, and spookies. I can totally understand your fear though. On that same trip, we went to the Enchanted Tiki Room. I loved that show. At the end, it looks like a storm...

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

The golf courses in Disney World are open (even though the parks are closed). They figure there’s enough room to move around, there’s enough social distancing between players, so knock yourself out. The only times I ever played golf, I had to putt the ball under a windmill and into a clown’s mouth.

Have you ever been to Disney World?

On our honeymoon, we spent one day at Universal. This was January 2001. For the first hour, the park was DESERTED! It was a cool day by Florida standards, but got to ride the then-brand-new Hulk coaster TWICE. Also brand new was Islands of Adventure, and I loved Seuss Island. The rest of the...

Have you ever been to Disney World?

Right before the virus hit, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad was open a few days. Everybody raves about it. So curious to check it out. Same next year if/when Ratatouille opens in Epcot. One thing that changed the most each time I went was meeting the characters. When I was little, you saw...

Have you ever been to Disney World?

Or Disneyland for that matter. I’ve been fortunate enough to go to Orlando three times in my life. 1974- I was six, and Magic Kingdom is all there was. 1986- senior class trip 2001- my honeymoon Muppets do have a small footprint in Disney World. They still have Muppetvision 3D, and a little...

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

Thinking like that comes at a price. This is no ordinary flu. As mentioned by others wiser than me, it’s hard to detect, it takes a while for symptoms to show themselves, and as time goes by, it shows not only old and weak people are susceptible to it. The good news is, even though there are...

New Jersey is up to 60 deaths. Mostly from Bergen County, which is a bridge away from Manhattan. There’s 8 million plus in New Jersey, a million in Bergen County alone.

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

Of course not all college kids are bad. But the attention goes to those who went out of their way to act selfish and entitled. The part that really hit me was the attitude of if a bunch of old people die, who cares. “Grandma, if you’re gonna kick the bucket, can you leave me some beer money?”

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

If this newborn generation becomes Gen-C, it will probably be as small as my Gen-X. After a glut of postwar baby boomers, my generation born between 1965 and 1975 was only a fraction due to the advent of The Pill. I don’t think too many couples will be making babies for a while. But after this...

That’s the same everywhere. That’s responsible. Up here the big supermarket chain is Shop Rite. They have a hot bar/salad bar/buffet that drew a big lunch crowd. That part closed down. The big convenience store chain is 7-11. They closed down the section where customers can pour their own...

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

My wife has the same letter. They can’t stop people from going food shopping or buying essentials. I guess buying fleece from Hobby Lobby is not a priority with them. But police can’t just arrest people for being outside. Protocol would be to ask what you’re doing out, advise you what your...

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

The saddest thing happening is hospitals are not allowing visitors. There were two people at our church who were admitted (not for the virus, one for a heart attack and the other for a stroke) and our pastor can’t visit them. If this was a year and a half ago, when I was in the hospital and I...
