Year of the Frog Awareness Ad

That's very true! We shouldn't complain so much about celebrities and their examples. Ultimately, even if a kid never saw littering on TV, they'd still see their parents do it and learn from that.

What sketches scared you as a kid?

    Honestly, I am skeptical.

Pre-Order Fraggle Rock: The Complete Series DVD

Maybe you could try selling on Amazon or Ebay. For that matter, regular people might sell the box set for less on Amazon or Ebay. And I still say the price will go down a bit closer to Christmas.

    The RHLC!

I noticed that too! And wow you read about that other clip when it happened, very nice! I probably would have been the kid to stare and wondr at the Muppeteer myself, lol. I was a sensitive kid and scared of things like Chucky Cheese, lol. I would have been relieved to know there were really...

    What's Wrong with Sweatpants?

I understand, lol, but it was good in a way. You never knew who was rich and who wasn't. And you were less distracted about impressing people, not to mention deciding what to wear every morning! The only problem I ever had was how ugly they could be. They've gotten better in recent years and I...

Well I mean it was a good try, it hadn't really been done much before. And their attempt to handle death had been so successful.

    What's Wrong with Sweatpants?

Yeah but there are certain absolutes, such as images associated with racism. Although sadly, some offensive stereotypes are frowned upon while others are still excepted.

    What's Wrong with Sweatpants?

Probably because they're associated with gym clothes and not tidy enough. A dress code is related to keeping discipline. I went Catholic school and wore uniforms, but on dress down days we could wear sweatpants. Since we always wore uniforms, they figured it was the least they could do I guess!

    What's Wrong with Sweatpants?

I know really? I feel like we don't have distinctive styles anymore. I mean even the '90s had flannel and Doc Martins. After that, it's just been one big mush with no center. And clearly we like distinctive styles, otherwise we wouldn't gravitate to the ones of the past.

    What's Wrong with Sweatpants?

When I was very young I had this thing for the '50s and always enjoyed wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, lol. Eventually I progressed into having a thing for the '70s and '60s (yes backwards) lol, which meant jeans bell bottoms!

    What's Wrong with Sweatpants?

Jeans have always been more about looking cool than feeling comfortable, hehe. Usually I hate uncomfortable clothing, but with jeans I make the exception!

I just think they need to be above human problems to a certain extent, so they can help the humans they interact with. I think that's what missing nowadays, they're a bit too much like the "hip" humans and not oddly unique.

What sketches scared you as a kid?

You know even today when they discuss divorce on Simpsons and even South Park, I really felt the pain deeply. I might agree about using a human instead. Sort of how on Muppet Show they got rid of a scene where a character got into a fight with Harry Belafonte (::shrugs:: OK...lol). Jim said...

What sketches scared you as a kid?

Aw I'm sorry, but thank you for sharing. That's true too, life is very complicated, you can't just sum it up in a neat episode package. Not saying it should be hidden, but it takes a lot of thought and care.
