if the gorgs had their own singing part in the theme...

Oh yeah, but then another time it might be different, as with the Gorgs.

Your Thoughts: Street Gang – The Complete History of Sesame Street

Yup, and the precursors to Sesame Street, like Ding Dong School and Howdy Doody. :)

if the gorgs had their own singing part in the theme...

You know, I know not everyone likes Robot Chicken, lol. But I'm reminded of one skit where they parodied the Smurfs and they showed Gargamel (the Smurf villian of course) being asked why he hated the Smurfs. And he says something like "Actually my motivations were never entirely clear." Lol...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

Right, the Muppets are more in the old school of Vaudeville and 1930s films, where you had the same types of characters, played by the same actors, but in different situations. (Playing a cop, then a robber, etc.)

if the gorgs had their own singing part in the theme...

Hmm...I mean Junior did have his own song where we talked about catching and kicking the Fraggles. But I think I agree that for the theme song, it needed to be a bit more ambiguous so they didn't appear like out and out bad guys. I think people can have their own interpretations (that's what...

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

Agreeing to disagree is a good thing. ;) I do think there are legitimate concerns that should be brought up on occasion. Yet there's also nothing wrong with keeping a positive open mind. Really I'm in favor of both and don't see a conflict. ;)

After Years in Obscurity, I'm Back...

Well I agree, there's too many remakes and not enough new ideas.

New behind-the-scenes book to celebrate Fraggle Rock

Exactly, time again that proves to be a big issue regarding remakes (or similar types of films). :)

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

I think it remains to be seen how things will turn out, and for the moment I welcome all opinions, positive or negative. Either could be right at this point, heh.

    Why...WHY! The Ugly muppet thread!

Wow, I saw Muppet Babies Live years ago and I don't remember it looking so weird! Lol :concern:

After Years in Obscurity, I'm Back...

I grew up with all the Treks except the classic Trek. And actually my favorite cast is the classic cast! But then again, I do tend to go against the grain. ;)

Your Thoughts: Street Gang – The Complete History of Sesame Street

I admit as a Muppet fan I'd be mostly looking for information on them in the book. Still, it's important to know where your interests came from, their origins and all. :)

    Concern about Rowlf

Well again, it's always been that way. I'm not entirely confident that putting them in this kind of exposure will be beneficial (if the youtube comments by normal Disney fans are any indication). Pre-teens are sometimes too fixed in their ways of what they like (no offence to pre-teens, hehe)...

After Years in Obscurity, I'm Back...

Well I can't agree with that, hehe. I agree the storylines weren't as deep as DS9, but I still enjoyed it every week. But I literally couldn't watch Enterprise. From day one, the characters were just thoroughly unlikeable. Worse than that. Too much gratutious sexual stuff that added nothing...

    Concern about Rowlf

In my experience, there are always two types of kids. The most visible group that only cares about the popular yet superficial teen idol stuff. I'm not surprised they're not up on the Muppets, or care to be. Then there are the less visible group of kids who enjoy things outside of what society...

25th Anniversary Follow That Bird Edition!

I bet there just wasn't that much behind the scenes footage to be found; people didn't tape home movies the way we do now. At least there is one interview! :wisdom:

    The RHLC!

Only Fraggle Rock could get away with a gender confused fairy godmother, lol. And thanks for the support, MN! The hardest part is just sitting down to write sometimes, but once you're there, it's worth it. :) Lol, yeah that shouldn't be a problem. ;)
