    The RHLC!

I think this is definitely something for a professional to comment on, I'd do that first definitely. But I do kinda understand. A wheelchair is something different than you're used to so it represents something new and challenging and exciting (especially since you don't actually need to use it).

    The Big Sesame Street Survey

Yeah it's amazing how completely lost that era of Sesame Street seems to be at the moment. Though it's probably only a matter of time before something pops up, hehe.

    The Big Sesame Street Survey

    2) Who is your favorite SS Muppet? SUP-er Grover! :super: 3) Who is your favorite human cast member? David and Bob (I met the latter two Christmases ago!) 4) Name one Jeff Moss song. "I Love Trash!" 5) Name one Joe Raposo song. "Flying" (Underrated and lovely!) 6) Your most memorable...

Weinstein rolls with Fraggle Rock movie

This is not that unusual from what I've read. Star Trek movie scripts used to get leaked to the public and this was before the Internet!

    Snuffle-Upagus Music

Good question! Maybe because it took so long to get him into a scene (due to the way he's built and because they wanted to show off the whole puppet). You have to fill the space with something to set the mood.

    The RHLC!

Yup, we rule! ;) I'm really sorry, my condolences to your family. I've been there and understand the feeling. At that point it probably is for the best, but it's still hard. Hang in there and feel free to PM or post here if you need to talk!

Weinstein rolls with Fraggle Rock movie

I'm really sorry that happened. Sometimes with the Internet and all, fans forget the need for boundaries. Good luck with everything!

Your Thoughts: Horton Hears a Who

Actually, I liked the idea the movie had where it looks like he can't save the sledge and says, "Oh well, they're just toys, right?" But then when Cindy Lou Who is the one in danger, he becomes more motivated. :) As usual, I just don't want remakes (even good ones) to overshadow originals. ;)

"The Doozers" preschool series under development

Well I think in the past, enviornmental messages on TV were very universal. They were written in a way where no one could really argue with them. Nowadays a lot of messages, on either side, are created in a very...em...partisan way? They can't help but stick in some jibe at the other side. Or...

"The Doozers" preschool series under development

At this point, I have no problem with an enviornmental message, even if it is preachy, heh. At some point, we do have to realize our responsibility to the planet and how much damage we did to it with the industrial revolution and how much damage we continue to do with big business. Technology...

Unofficial Script Review of the New Muppet Movie

Yeah I know what you mean, it's often the case that even people who lovingly create movies don't know as much as the fans, hehe. That's true, you say you're going back to basics but then creating something new as well. There's a fine line there.

Your Thoughts: Horton Hears a Who

The Cat in the Hat was a travesty that can never be forgiven...period. Moving on, hehe, after a couple of viewings I decided the Grinch was very sweet, had its moments and Jim Carrey owned the role. Though overall, still very childish when compared to the original cartoon or book.

    Kids Know Some Muppet Characters

Exactly, if the Muppets are truly timeless, as we hope they are, they don't need the new Disney projects to be their one and only outlet to kids. ;)

Unofficial Script Review of the New Muppet Movie

It all really depends on your own view of how things have gone with the Muppets. If you haven't been satisfied with the Muppets in the post-Jim era, you might appreciate Segal's attitude on the matter. Still other fans liked the post-Jim projects a bit more. ::shrugs:: It's all personal opinion. :)

    Telly appreciation thread

Yeah I get you, I think we've all gotten THAT reaction from our friends, hehe. I showed someone my copy of Street Gang and he said, "What are you, 12? !" Which is funny because 12's not even the "right" age for Sesame street, lol.

Lol, at which point he sings a song comparing the pros and cons of network versus cable. ;) Lol, good point! Erm...that pun was unintentional. Though perhaps appropriate!
