    Bob Appreciation Thread

What I love is how Bob was not technically one of the "younger" members of the cast, but his '70s threads were just as groovy, lol. Very true for the times, people of all ages was very much into the freedom of not having to wear suits for the first time.

Do you feel bad for liking Sesame Street?

Oh yeah sometimes guys really appreciate girls who like quirky things, hehe. Whereas some girls just want the world to be bland, hehe. ;)

Do you feel bad for liking Sesame Street?

Yeah I mean you don't have to feel obligated to let everyone know. It's your own thing in the end. I think people are just saying you shouldn't be ashamed either. :)

    The RHLC!

See PM. ;) Since we're on the subject, hehe, when I wash my hair it goes all huge and fluffy and needs to be toned down a bit, lol. The only thing that really bugs me is how it gets so greasy! It feels just awful and sometimes I just want to shave it off, lol.

"Gee, I wish I were you people..."

Hehe, well the whole movie is sort of Pythonesque in its randomness. Columbo's little cameo for instance, hilarious, lol.

What Movie are you Currently Watching?

Exactly, whereas '80s kids shows were sometimes cutely disturbing. ;)

    The RHLC!

Just wanted to share, I was volunteering at The Paley Center today (formerly the TV and Radio Museum) and got to look through some of their books, like yearly TV program summaries that weren't published for the public. The Muppet Show was mentioned in 1978 and there was a small photo of...

Do you feel bad for liking Sesame Street?

I mean it really just depends on the person. Some guys were just as nasty to me about the Beatles as girls. And some boys I knew were terrified of going against their "pack." Still, I went to a very jock-oriented school, hehe. Yet there were other boys were more easy going and kind. And I...

What Movie are you Currently Watching?

You guys are right, there were some creepy and intense moments. I do remember being freaked out when the little girl gets frozen. In a way, I think that's what's missing from kids shows today. The shows we grew up with had a mixture of cute and unsettling. It was a full story that tugged on your...

Do you feel bad for liking Sesame Street?

Oh yeah I agree about girls. I figured they were the worst. It was just that one male friend of mine insisted that boys gave you absolutely no choice in such matters. I obviously have no personal experience. lol ::shrugs::

Miss Piggy wasn't very mean to Kermit in the 1980s

Well on The Muppet Show the characters were all kinda snippy and competitive with each other. They were a family, but they got on each other's nerves very easily. In the movies and specials they were often more toned down to be sweet and chummy with each other.

"Gee, I wish I were you people..."

Of the original three, GMC does have a few slow parts, lol (though I still prefer it over the more recent projects hehe).
