    The RHLC!

No problem! Definitely look up Muppets while you're there (typing Richard Hunt or Scooter also gave me a couple good things), they have so much material to watch!

    The RHLC!

Aw glad you liked it! I haven't thought of that post in ages, lol. The show in my opinion really needed some work. Most of the characters were sort of bland and one dimensional, with the exception of Richard's actually, I think most of the attention was put on him.

    The RHLC!

Lol, yay, road trip! Here's a little description I put together awhile ago (scroll down): http://forum.muppetcentral.com/showthread.php?p=490122&highlight=puppetman#post490122

Halloween is just around the corner

Exactly, as the song goes, wake me up when September ends! On the other hand, as my Grandpa used to say, don't wish your life away. ;) That sounds really cool, MN! (Just be cautious!)

    The RHLC!

Oh yeah awesome book! If you're ever able to get to The Paley Center of Media in NYC or Los Angeles, they have Puppetman in their video library, available for viewing. Definitely great for Richard fans, he's featured quite a bit.

    The RHLC!

Aw I'm sorry, that's OK maybe another time! Do you know about the show?

    The RHLC!

Yeah it sounds like desperate measures were occasionally required there! ;) Gelfling Girl, do you know about the Your Face! website? A former MC member made it awhile ago as a tribute to Richard, it includes a small clip of Jim Henson's TV pilot Puppetman, which Richard participated in...

    The RHLC!

Hey, there are worse things we could be doing with our time! ;) I did try watching a couple of times. They must be there, but either they weren't focused on or they're heavily in disguise, either of which is possible!

What would've Jim Henson done after 9/11?

Well I imagine he would have tried creating something of a Hippie old school variety, of characters involved in a serious conflict and having to come together in the end to survive.

    The RHLC!

That has been confirmed in several places but so far fans haven't been able to find him (or Jerry Nelson who is also supposed to be in the El Sleazo scene).

    The Beatles 9.9.09

Well John Lennon said they jammed with Elvis, but the other Beatles now claim they have no memory of this, lol. :insatiable:

How do you explain Scooter's introduction?

Well there was that time when he was trying to sell magazine. That is traditionally associated with High School age kids.

    The Phantom Tollbooth

This is sort of an old thread but I just watched the movie version of Phantom Tollbooth on TCM. I saw it once a long time ago (on the Disney Channel I think), and found it pretty strange, lol. Seeing it now though, it's got such a wonderful message. We too easily give into boredom or wasting...

    The RHLC!

I'm not familiar with those, but I'd definitely like to hear more! :) TCM just showed 1970 feature film cartoon version of The Phantom Tollbooth. I saw it as a child, found it pretty strange. Watching it now, I think it's got a great message and the animation and music are amazingly beautiful...

    See?

So if a thread closes, and no one's there to see it, did it really close? :halo:

    See?

Honestly I don't think it was one person who caused that problem. The problem was that overall no one was able to just say "agree to disagree." Both sides of the argument just kept pushing. In the end, no one was right. That's just my opinion. ;)

Nice! So how does Harry Potter compare to the older fantasy trilogies?

    See?

::shrugs:: I have no problem with either one. As long as the person knows how to write. ;)

    See?

Like the film I referenced earlier, the way I see extreme religion and extreme atheism is "Intolerance vs. Intolerence." No one group has the monopoly on intolerance. Both are very capable of it. People are people, faults and all.
