    Mopatop and Hoobs

I do realize that Muppet things have to be somewhat regional when they are aimed at kids...whereas Muppet Show and for the most part Fraggle Rock was embraced and seen by many continents...certain shows like the aforementioned Hoobs and Mopatop might be akin to a non US Sesame. Mopatop...

    Muppet Magazines

It'd be nice if someday there was a new slick color and glossy Muppet magazine, or at leasy a special. Looking thru the old ones makes me think of the possibilities.

Fraggle Rock Ep. 97: Finding New Jobs

Good to see people eager about this! It's about 15 minutes and is one of the funniest FR things Ive seen(especially when Boober calls Terry Angus) I barley have one working vcr tho, sorry.

    Mopatop and Hoobs

Well, I finally saw full episodes of Mopatop and Hoobs... I can see why these won't be coming to the US anytime soon. Mopatop is actually kind of cool...if youre a big JHC history fan, youll love all the Muppet cameos than span the decades....everyone from TMS, JHH, specials, and even...

Pre-production of "Muppets' Wizard of Oz" TV movie

If it's more 'loosely based' then what I feared(a early to mid 90's-esque classic fairty tale retelling) then this could be good. One question: Why wasn't Jim Henson Creature Shop brought aboard? They could add some cool art cred by providing very ornate and macbre type backgrounds or creature...

    Rowlf's 1980's video

My favorite was from 1988, "Youre As Funny As Fozzie Bear", featuring Kermit, Fozzie, and Gorgon Heap. good stuff.

Muppet Family Christmas UK DVD questians

I recently saw the entire uncut 48 minute MFC from 87, commercial bumpers and all. While it sucks these songs were taken out of the US version, the sheer beuatiful clarity of the dvd makes up for this to me at least.

    Most Outrageous Muppet Moments

What do you think are some of the most outrageous moments in Muppet history? For me... 10. Early Muppets canned meat ads from the early 60's. A more dark sort of violent comedy Ive seen by the Muppets. I'd also have to tie #10 with the CBS Muppet Pitch from 1975. 9. The Muppet Show: Sex...

Fraggle Rock Ep. 97: Finding New Jobs

Well, I finally got to see the very rarely seen 'extra final' Fraggle Rock episode.(from 1986) Wow...I actually haven't really heard of this before, but it was definately something very rare and unique. I actually would now consider this one of my favorite FR episodes. I often wondered what...

    Giant Costumed/Large TMS Muppets

I'm just curious if anyone has a complete list of every single large scale/full bodied Muppet that ever appeared on TMS, or Muppet related specials, etc.(non Sesame or Fraggle Rock) So far all I can think of is: Sweetums Thog Doglion Behemoth Beautiful Day Monster Two Bossmen Gorgon...

Mini-muppets now in the Palisades store!

Just got my order in today. Wow...finally...finally my wish of Palisades pulling a "Kenner/Hasbro Star Wars POTF" line has begun to take shape. Seeing the mini muppets in individual packing is just so cool. Please please Palisades, continue this line...the possibilities of obscure characters are...

Jim Henson and Muppets on 2005 US postage stamps

Again, I really feel this is a good start at trying to get the Muppets back into the public eye...and this is a *great* thing as part of the Muppets 50th annv.

Muppet Wizard of Oz to film in September

thus perpetuating the rumor that JHC was in informal talks to buyout Disney back then. Funny to think how the Muppets ruled the 70's and 80's, but Disney was a floundering fish...and now JHC virtually evaporated into a last ditch sale, and its Disney who owns half the world. Btw, when the...

Jim Henson and Muppets on 2005 US postage stamps

Praise be! Muppet news is scarce these days, but this is something Ive been wanting for awhile. Sure, this wont be the first time Muppets have graces a US postage stamp(remember Big Bird? And didnt Rowlf have his own stamp in the 80's?) but man...a whole sheet of Muppet stamps with JH...

Movie Script: Kermit, Prince of Denmark

How could this be? Isnt Avenue Q produced and or performed by current or at least former with close ties Sesame/Muppet performers? so little thine know about JHC/JHC related alumni and the inner workings, heh. heh...kinda reminds me of the rarely seen Fox Muppets pilot pitch from 2002.
