Bert and Ernie Gay Rumor: Settled

That did occur to me too, lol. Though at the same time you can't be paranoid and assume everyone's lying either. ;)

ABC News Video: Jason Segel, Muppet Savior

Yeah but see does that mean the Muppet characters whose personalities could be described as pessimistic aren't really Muppets?

Yeah that's pretty much the idea, hehe.

ABC News Video: Jason Segel, Muppet Savior

Well you can say other fans are pre-conditioned to love the new movie before they've even seen it and that's not good either. ;)

ABC News Video: Jason Segel, Muppet Savior

It's really not that simple. Many fans have been burned too many times and it makes perfect sense that they'd been skeptical about another new project. But if the movie is in fact good, I assure you those fans would be pleased.

In the spirit of Halloween - your favorite movies to watch this time of year!

Lol, I remember that but actually that was Dwight Fyre who played Renfield in Dracula. But actually it's often said Dwight Fyre probably would have gotten Peter Lorre's roles had Peter not come to America, hehe.

Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

Right, yes, lol. Which is understandable. But the problem is some men don't always care to look for quality female characters either (I know I'm generalizing). So it's a cause that doesn't always get a lot of support.

Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

Well...hmm...like I said I think it's annoying when people assume two men can't possibly be just affectionate friends. It's an immature attitude that we as a society really need to get over. That said, I don't think some fans choosing to look at Bert and Ernie as a couple is causing damage to...

Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

Lol, that's so true. We fans are very good at that. ;) I'll be honest, I did not like that show. I found it bland and insipid and sugar coated nonsense, and it almost made me embarrassed to be religious. But that's just me, lol. I'm not entirely sure what you mean there. To each their own...

From what I read, the girls loved the other opening act which was an all male band. ;)

Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

As a woman I hate to point this out, but this is something I have observed from time to time (and I'm guilty of it myself). Girls don't always want to seek out girl characters. Or girl artists for that matter. I remember reading about a Beatles concert in the '60s that had a well known girl...

What the media, and often women's groups, don't understand is you can't have decent female characters unless you allow them to be what they are--human.

The Nostalgia Critic Thread Lives Again!

Oh I'm not saying that. There's always people who say that with every review, heh, but I personally don't think he's declining at all. It's just that people like some reviews and not others. Well they were trying to make fun of the way the wife had cried in the movie, lol.

Oh yeah I mean I knew that and I totally understand how that can be, lol. But as soon as I realized he was actually going to review something Doug related I knew I was going to have difficulty watching it, lol.
