Well I watched "Marooned" with two different friends, both Fraggle fans. The first friend found the episode "too morbid." The second friend thought it was sad sure but loved the happy ending. Especially the "Stay a little longer with your friends" reprise. :)

The problem with most kids shows, including Sesame Street at times, is their sole motivation is to fill a quota (more girl characters, etc.) rather than create a well rounded character.

I used to have the junior book version, read that all the time (or at least looked at the pictures, hehe). I tried to buy it once on Amazon but it supposedly got lost in the mail, heh. Will have to try again someday!
Lol, I know what you mean, still I do think when the Muppet performers are caught on camera in a special it's usually not by accident (unless they're underneath a puppet at the time, hehe. ;) ).
Well he's the one who has all the bright ideas at the beginning. First he suggests they take the show to Broadway. Then he suggests they go out on their own, lol.
Yeah that would have been ideal. As it is there's too many humans with major parts in the film.
