What went wrong with Muppets from Space?

Oh I think they are best when they're a group absolutely. But every group has a break out star, for better or worse, because they have the most mass appeal. It's like being the group's mascot.

What went wrong with Muppets from Space?

It always made sense to me that he'd get most of the attention; he's clearly the band member with the most humor potential. He did get a bit overexposed on Muppet Babies perhaps, hehe.

What went wrong with Muppets from Space?

Oh I love Animal. His, um, "interest" in woman reminds me of the classic hard rocker, lol. But Pepe reminds me of teenagers trying to seem grown up. It's shock value and that's about it. But to each their own. :)

What went wrong with Muppets from Space?

With Gonzo I'm reminded of something I read on the Tough Pigs site about MFS: "Too strong a character role for one of the crazier characters." Now that's not to say one of the non-Kermit characters should never have a staring role. But if not done properly it can create an imbalance in a...

What went wrong with Muppets from Space?

Thanks, although to be fair (again hehe) I have no interest in seeing MFS again. I agree that by and large the Muppets are out of character.

What went wrong with Muppets from Space?

Well to be fair on Muppet Show Scooter once took the opportunity to get the audience to buy his magazines so he could win a skateboard (which he eventually did apparently, lol). ;)

First Look at Nickelodeon Ninja Turtles

Did you see that quote from Bay in the article? Why does that almost sound like a threat? Lol. Just kidding. But seriously though, I'm having flashbacks to an old episode of Transformers where the Autobots go to Hollywood and are forced to play stunt cars in pointless explosion scenes because...

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

I've mentioned this a few times here, if I have a really good day, like a birthday, very often I will have a nightmare that night, and a really awful one at that, lol.

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

Maybe it's just the fall out from having a really positive time and then having to see it end. That's the reaction I often have; the pendulum just swings.

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

Thanks guys. :) Yesterday was a bit better; I'm probably going to start looking into counseling for myself as far as relieving anxiety. I just think it would make my life a lot easier overall. ; ) Good luck; I hope things settle down soon. These things always come and go in waves. But they do...

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

In an extremely dark and difficult situation right now that I can't easily escape for the time being. And it all comes down to my inability to handle my anxiety in the face of cruel people. My friends and family try to make me feel better but their sympathies only seem to serve to underline just...

FOR THE LOVE OF PETE, HASBRO! KNOCK IT OFF!

Oh if it encourages a cartoon to be a bit deeper than usual that's good. It's just a question of execution and sometimes it was just so obviously "old toy out, new toy in" that it was painful and unsatisfying to people who had been following the characters and the story.

    When you need to rant...

Well they've kinda been forced to. There's too many fans getting these autographs and selling them on Ebay, ruining it for the rest of us. Plus the type of working actors who go to conventions are not rich, they're taking time out of their lives to leave their families and travel to appearances...

FOR THE LOVE OF PETE, HASBRO! KNOCK IT OFF!

That's what tends to happen to good writers. You can only come up with so many classic stories before the well naturally runs dry. But publishers just keep squeezing them for more until none of the stories are worth reading.

FOR THE LOVE OF PETE, HASBRO! KNOCK IT OFF!

Though Hasbro did kind of mess that up back in the day killing off so many characters and traumatizing children just to get the new toy line on the shelves. The '80s franchises were good despite their toy company origins, rather than because of, heh.

    When you need to rant...

I swear, I don't know if it's him, or his writers, or both, but someone there has the most low class, hideous sense of humor it has ever been my displeasure to experience, lol. Or at the very least, they think that's what their audience is like. I know there was a writer's strike and that can...
