Watched The Muppet Movie and noticing a lot of new stuff...

Well I think he's saying that if Kermit hadn't even tried and just given up and stayed in the swamp he'd be beating himself up right now anyway. So even if he didn't make it to Hollywood, it's better that he at least tried. :)

Question about the release of "The Lorax" in March 2012

I loved the original too, that's why I liked some of the in jokes, lol. But the movie wasn't that tightly written either; it was just all over the place.

One thing that annoyed me in "The Muppets"

I'm right there with you. Cars hardly needs the publicity. It was the Muppets that needed soaring up.

    College Advice

The job market is really tough right now but if you know what kind of field you're interested in I would suggest looking at job hunting websites in that area to see the types of skills that are most in demand and use that as a rough basis of what classes to take, at least to start out with. As...

    "Act Naturally"

Have to go with Floyd and Janice for sentimental value since I was obsessed with Muppets Go to the Movies as a kid and this was also when I decided I really loved Janice's voice, lol. :flirt:

    Disney Villains

From this list I have to go with Maleficent; she has some of the best lines in villain history: "Oh, they're hopeless. A disgrace to the forces of evil!" "Now you shall deal with me, oh prince, and all the powers of [Heck]!" ;) I also have to give props to Lady Tremaine from Cinderella...

What do you know about dreams?

Not sure if this has been asked before but you know how at the end of Wizard of Oz Dorothy insists she tried to get back home for "days and days" but it reality it probably hadn't been that long? Has anyone ever had an experience like that where a dream can feel like days but it was actually...

    Kid Doesn't Recognize Big Bird

I never thought Elmo was a girl. I was just slightly confused about Gladys, because even as a kid I thought, "OK that's clearly a guy's voice," Lol.

    When you need to rant...

Lol, thanks. But to be fair Hubert is right as well, sometimes going too dirty is a sign of desperation.

    When you need to rant...

Oh yeah me too, when they're under the radar. It's when they start to lose their subtlety that things get ugly.

    When you need to rant...

To be blunt, that's often just a sign of a creator running out of ideas. No matter how talented you are, eventually it happens and what was once attempts to be edgy just become dirty.

    Muppet Babies Live! Commercial

Yup I saw this as a kid at Madison Square Garden. I can still kinda smell the popcorn and remember all the expensive merchandise we couldn't buy, lol.

Frank Oz: "New Muppets Too Cute"

Yeah that's ridiculous; they clearly should have made an exception and if absolutely necessary just put a disclaimer at the beginning. Ratings are useless if they're just mindlessly implemented.

    Favorite Frank Oz Character

I will go with Grover; such a spot on sense of humor (and he taught me not to use contractions, hehe). :super:
