Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

I do get that there's always at least one viewer that gets offended. I just don't like that the disclaimer was framed as some sort of responsible surgeon general warning when it's really ultimately a matter of taste and opinion. I find that rather irresponsible.

Your Thoughts: Fraggle Rock on The Hub beginning October 10, 2010

I think so too; it had been on the Hub for a long time and it's typical to change cycles. It's not out of the question that they could bring it back at some time.

    Misconceptions about your age

You're right they do and it's silly. There are certainly men who cheat who keep their wedding rings on. ;)

    Misconceptions about your age

Well I personally would, hehe. Not in a mean way, but I would debate the point. ;) Just because a person wants to do something doesn't mean they ought to.

How To Create a New Muppet Fan?!!!

That has always been one of the dangers of trying to educate through Television. You're always going to be subject to making a profit.

Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

I know it sounds cynical but I still lean towards the theory they didn't want children to notice that there was life before the cash monster, so to speak. ;)

How To Create a New Muppet Fan?!!!

I have to respectfully disagree. We're far too worried nowadays about "confusing" children as though that's some sort of frightening prospect. Children enjoy older TV shows and movies all the time. If something's confusing they ask questions and adults will answer. That's what growing up is all...

    Misconceptions about your age

Exactly, double standard written all over it. That's really cool. Reminds me of how John Lennon had his middle name changed to Ono. ;)

    Misconceptions about your age

Um because a man has never had to worry about losing their name just because they got married. They take it for granted. A woman can't.

I think that might have been different if they hadn't jumped the shark and just preserved themselves as the clever show they were.

    Misconceptions about your age

Wanting to keep the name you're born with (the same way a man does) is bucking the establishment?

    Misconceptions about your age

If the man thinks the name change is what signals commitment or lack thereof, they're missing the big picture of what a marriage entails.

    Misconceptions about your age

No offense but I would doubt the commitment of a man who felt that way. ;) Women who want to keep their names don't want a divorce. They just want their identify, the same as the man does.
