Pixar: Are the glory days over?

And thus A Bug's Life continues its distinction as the only film from the original five-film contract between Disney and Pixar without a sequel. Unless you count Flick's and whichever other bug's appearance in the outtakes at the end of TS2, but that was a lampshaded joke about how they didn't...

Pixar: Are the glory days over?

Alls I know is that when I went to see MMW (Muppets Most Wanted) and I heard the following lines from the song "We're Doing A Sequel" I told my friend who went to see the movie with me that it was no idle threat what was being said. Muppets: "We're doing a sequel, the studio wants more."...

Er, I'm pretty sure that guy's wife isn't :wisdom:. Miss Finch on the other hand, that opens up another kind of thread that's already posted in another forum section. ;)

And on today's Lebitard show... A call-in viewer asked if his own wife was :wisdom: due to his misguided suspicions given that he said when his children watch Sesame Street and Big Bird is on screen his wife mysteriously disappears. :zany:

    Muppet Film and TV References

Dunno if anyone here listens/watches the popular? Dan Lebitard Show on ESPN Radio and ESPN News. One of the bits they regularly feature is the Magical Crate of Content that shows up at odd intervals, basically a random question posed to all the members of their staff known as the "shipping...

    The breakfast cereal thread

Have to admit, I haven't seen any commercials for any of the cereals mentioned in the last few posts. Then again, I'm not the one who does the shopping for myself so I rully wouldn't know what's available at the various megastores. :shifty:

The "What Are You Eating Right Now?" Thread

Had a Costco burger with their delicious French fries and some of mom's spicy ketchup. As for me, I rank the burger joints as BK first (probably because there's one near the cull de sac community my neighborhood's a part of), McD's second, and Wendy's last because I really don't like their food.

Regarding the Beatles on TMS... I just got a call from Ringo! :boo: What'd he say? He said no. :boo: So about those other guys I was telling you about... Excerpt from the Hal Lindon TMS episode. Back on track... Had half a calzone my bro brought back from one of the local pizza...

We have a replica light sabre (borrowed from my first younger brother) with a removable 4 attached to the grip and a rinsed out empty white jar on the windowsill with a 5 on its label to celebrate the spirit of this weekend's holidays. :insatiable: Mmm, me smell there something good in the...

The "What Are You Eating Right Now?" Thread

For dinner Mom made one of her salads with the requisite veggies and pistachios thrown into the mix, then a few sauced ribs. She lets them cook for a length of time that I can bite off the cartilage and part of the bone with its marrow. A slice of good cake for dessert made it a full meal.

    Your Thoughts: SSL Certificate Installed

Huh... When I got the notification about security I just brushed it aside clicking on the "Close Button" due to the years I've been a part of MC and the automatic trust I have in the site/forum. Next time it pops up I'll click on whatever link in the notification to make sure it accepts the...

Earlier this morning Mom made a truly excellent breakfast... Fluffy coconut flour waffles with spicy ground chorizo, cooked down frozen strawberries sauce, and a topping of whipped heavy cream. :hungry: :D

Sesame Street Legos, Potentially Coming Soon

Just went to the Lego SST page, and wow! It says it has 9920 votes/signatures. Only 80 away from the magical 10K mark! :batty: I'm hoping that Lego's plans for creating Braille sets to help blind/visual impaired children learn the language leads to instruction manuals for their various sets...

The Batley Triplets arrive at Apt 1, knock on the door to deliver the chocolate chip black dread puddings we ordered from the Bat Bolt and Skull earlier as an Easter Sinday treat. Though I also ordered them to cheer up :insatiable: who's a bit vexed. First, the local news was airing a bit on...
