For increased security and peace of mind for our members, all Muppet Central pages are now served with an SSL certificate. A few years ago, SSL was optional. In this day and age, it's become a requirement for anyone with a presence online.

In your browser, instead of "http://muppetcentral.com", you'll see "https://muppetcentral.com" with a secure padlock icon. This means that all account information is now encrypted and 100% securely transferred from you to us.

Also, if you enter "www.muppetcentral.com" in your browser it should automatically redirect to "muppetcentral.com" instead.

Please note, in order to implement this increased security, several thousand pages are being updated. We've also disabled the Radionomy "Now Playing" info for Muppet Central Radio on our home page and the front of our forum because it causes an https conflict. We'll try to find a workaround in the near future.

If you notice any other pages not working correctly or that do not appear secure, please post the exact link here and let us know.

So will we have to use the Radionomy app now to find out what songs are playing?

Huh... When I got the notification about security I just brushed it aside clicking on the "Close Button" due to the years I've been a part of MC and the automatic trust I have in the site/forum. Next time it pops up I'll click on whatever link in the notification to make sure it accepts the security check instead.

If there's an issue with a page what you'll likely see is that an image, video or menu is no longer displaying correctly now that we've switched to https. Your web browser will also likely show that the page is not secure. Just copy the full web address of any questionable page, post it here and we'll manually make the fix.
