This is a great series not likely to be attempted again, so expect to pay a premium, but it's so worth it!!
First, here are the must-haves that you can usually find for reasonable prices...
$12-50
Classic Kermit: Series One
Classic Fozzie: Series Two
Crazy Harry: Series Two

I agree with you completely. I understand what they did and why they did it. They tried to attract a younger, faithful following by evoking Pixar with a Muppetized Monsters Inc "M" and a Toy Story configuration of colorful characters photographed against white. The marketing of the film worked...
I think it's safe to say that there's not likely going to be a flood of merchandise, or at least not enough of one to satisfy rabid fans like you and me, but there will definitely be more stuff coming in March. I'll finally gripe if they bungle that opportunity to put a little more merch on the...
Disney has actually been doing the Muppets justice in the past few months. There's actually more stuff in the US than is being reported. The Disney store has lots of Muppet plushes including a commercially available Pepe and Walter. There are also houseware and electronics items at various top...
I honestly don't know why people are still confused about this these days, so I'll try to explain this again...
The whole picture is the widescreen version.
Would you rather have Muppet characters chopped out of each shot or have the image size reduced to see the whole picture on one of the...
Well, it should have better explained that Tex couldn't laugh and I like that he had some sort of personal disdain for the Muppets that went deeper than oil.
Word is that they originally did cut "Me Party" from the film, but stuck it back in to beef-up Amy Adams' role and to give a girl-power portion to the movie. It was short and kind of cute so I have no problem with it other than the fact that Sarah Silverman was given nothing to do. I'm sure she...
Yeah, the biggest problem people had with the first season is having two very young fellas being given credibility as FBI agents with forged IDs and conspicuous behavior. That's the only real mental leap. Not the supernatural elements. It becomes humorous or credible later on in the series.
The...
Supernatural is actually a really good series. It's tongue-in-cheek. The first few episodes aren't the best, but it gets much, much better and by the second season it just starts booming. Mix Buffy and X-Files and you kinda sorta get an idea of what Supernatural is. Definitely worth a NetFlix.
I agree, the fact that they had Tex sing his bizarre rap without the payoff of the second verse seemed like a poor choice. The flashback during the song would have lent 30 extra seconds to the picture and a lot more development for the character.
I had high hopes for "Whitney" because I like the actress, but the show is so bad. It's a younger "Mad About You" but without the small fraction of funny that show had in it's first couple of seasons. On the other hand, "Chelsea" looks like it could be good.
"Suburgatory" is a solid B effort of...
I knew "Work It" wouldn't work. Neither the commercials nor the show were funny. Period. Anything can be made funny by funny writers so the drag element had nothing to do with its failure. That's a cop-out. Many of the "Bosom Buddies" episodes still hold up as being funny today.
The LGBT...
I must admit to have seen the nail polish display in store windows a lot while walking from place to place. I wasn't even looking for it. I'm sure others have seen it and are buying the product even though I passed on it.
My guess is that Disney did shop The Muppets film products around to...
Comparing The Muppets to Hugo is like apples and oranges. They're not meant to be the same experience at all and both have their strong points.
Yeah, I had problems with The Muppets film, but it did the trick by reigniting interest in them for North American audiences. I just hope it gets...
i'm perplexed. Once again, we did get a healthy amount of items, not just snuggies. However we did not get a windfall. Few things are getting a windfall.
Star wars toys may not excite the people here, but they rake in a lot of sales from faithful customers of all ages. Disney's Cars and...
Keep in mind that originally the film was slated for Christmas release so product demand would not be anticipated until after the holidays. Product launches take time and it seems the flow of merchandise is increasing when initially intended. They have character plushes in the Disney store...
