A few days after 2019 began (this was after Grover's F bomb incident) I had a dream :dreamy: where I woke up the next morning and turned on my tablet to check my notifications. I saw some news on google about Sesame Street getting into a lot of trouble  I was very confused but instead...
 I really hate the way that Disney is handling the Muppets. Their off limits to everyone else and Disney has just kept them locked in the vault and won't do anything with them. I didn't hear the entire Whitmire story but from what I have heard most of it had to do with Disney.
I might build Dr Teeth :D Bunsen  and Beaker:eek: replicas soon. I'm currently finishing some Avenue Q replicas and at some point I will make the fraggles too :smirk::excited::dreamy::coy::sigh: since that's probably my favorite Jim Henson show.
I already told you guys about how I hated the demon scene in "Big Bird in Japan". One thing I forgot about was how much The Monkey King from "Big Bird in China" scared me. I always found him very unsettling and had to leave the room whenever he showed up.
I used to be scared of Digit :electric: from "The Jim Henson Hour" probably because of how lifelike he looks. I saw him for the first time on the VHS "Muppet Sing Alongs: It's Not Easy Being Green" in the "Sweet Vacation" video at the end, I had to leave the room when it got to that part.
I tried to cheer myself up by building some replicas of the Avenue Q puppets but that reminded me that the show is closing in the springtime (dang it, right when I'm old enough to see it) and the show only ever came to the area where I live once and I was to young to see it :sigh:.
As most of you know yesterday was the 45th birthday of Sesamstrasse (the German co-production of Sesame Street) which made me smile since that's my favorite co-production. Sadly though my all region DVD player broke so I couldn't watch my "Sesamstrasse Classics" DVD's so instead I built a Herr...
The only people that I know of who were involved with that episode that are still alive today are Caroll Spinney (Big Bird and Oscar) and Sonia Manzano (Maria). There is a slight chance that Frankie Biodino (the SS cameraman) might have been involved with this episode too. Maybe they could tell...
I'm just saying that Sesame Workshop is so worried about what the audiences will think that they can't release these early Elmo clips. The gruff sounding Elmo might scare little kids who are used to the falsetto voiced Elmo and they don't want that to happen because he is now the main part of...
One thing that made me frown :( (something I will complain about for a long time) was Episode 847 of Sesame Street. I know there's nothing we can do about it but what really ticks me off is seeing some of the other things they got away with. In "Don't Eat the Pictures" they got away with...
I think the reason Sesame Workshop hasn't released any of these clips to the public is because Elmo is the most important part of their show and if they show their audience the old gruff sounding Elmo it might send the wrong message to kids. That's why the original version of "We Are All...
I really don't see why Warner Bros can't just release the episode as a special feature on the next Wizard of Oz DVD. Sesame Street has gotten away with stuff much worse than this. The creepiest SS moment I saw as a kid was the scene in Big Bird in Japan where Barkley sees the demon statues...
