OOOOooohh!!!!
[slaps self on head]
I thought her reference had something more to do with the professor part :o
Of COURSE I know that classic Grover/Kermit bit!
(but then, it's not like that was immortalized on The Best of Kermit On Sesame Street for everyone to remember for...
Now, I know we all know better because we were all at MuppetFest hanging out with Dave Gumpel and John Kennedy and everything, but IMDb has Kermit's Swamp Years slated for a June 2002 release.
Is it possible that this direct-to-video release has been pushed up from its' original August slate?
By the way, while I'm gushing all over all the new changes, can I just also take this time to say how much I love the fact that Muppet Central is advertisement-free? No banners, no Flash movies popping on the screen, no pop-up windows, nada. Bliss.
Re-runs already? Didn't season 33 just start? How many episodes are there per season? Will there be no more new eps for this season?

Nice!
I threatened to tie myself, naked, to a Greg the Bunny billboard screaming, "Puppets on DVD!! Puppets on DVD" if they didn't realease any more.
I could actually hear the laughter in the digital void of cyberspace.

Yikes, that may be *too* many smileys!
Take it easy now, Frogboy is already starting to have nightmares involving being buried in them (partly in thanks to me)
[sigh]
I feel ashamed that you've just made a reference to a movie for my benefit and I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that I just haven't got the foggiest....
:(
Thanks for the answers Phil.
And again, although I've voiced it in other threads, thanks for all your efforts in making this a true Muppet fan community by doing all you can to provide for us.
Peace!
You know you're a Muppet fan when....
You rely on the Muppet Central Forum clock to get you to school on time and in classic Muppet fashion, you arrive late causing havoc and craziness
An Aussie! Where's Kynan when we need him?
I thought the only other Aussie Muppet fan was Keith Urban who battled (and prevailed over) the Muppets on Family Feud.
[senses a hint of those Louie Anderson nightmares coming back]

Too true. Too true. VOSN acts as an IP allocator getting their space from Tucows. However it appears that MC's IP comes out of a block maintained by venturesonline.com who happen to be a hosting provider in Colorado which is where the IP terminates.
At first I thought MC was being...
I'd just like to say that I'm having a great time on this new forum. I've spent some time here today reading up on what I missed over the weekend and familiarizing myself with the vBulletin features that we can utilize. I think I share everyone else's distaste for the fact that we can't reply to...
Luke
Thanks for the link, Luke. I started browsing their site once I discovered that the MC forum had moved. I know that the 3 things I mentioned are capable of being done with vBulletin, I was wondering if Phil was going to enable them.
All in due time.

It appears that MuppetCentral is now being hosted by Vosn.net, IP space owned by Tucows (is that right Phil?). I wonder what hosting package Phil optioned for when considering the move. The server type, its' network integrity, geographical location, etc, will all have to do with what this...
Thanks for the update Jamie!
I send an email out to Henson and Time-Life about once a month or so to show my support. Each time, their replies stick pretty close to the mark, but every once in a while, I get a small variation like this. It makes me think that perhaps our letters do make a...
ResidentLilly-
So Ken.... who do I have to bribe to get one of those wedding exclusive 2-packs I just read about on the Palisades site? ;) :p
Kidding aside, I hope you provide us with plenty of pictures to gawk at and cry over [sniff]
By the way, congrats on the future union :)
