    Sesame Street Old School Outlines

Hi-ho! I'm back after a three-month hiatus. Here is outline number 114, in which one of Mumford's tricks goes awry (as usual). Plus, Ernie and Bert share jellybeans, and Cookie Monster stars in "The Monster's Three Wishes." Sesame Street Old School Outline 114 Season 9: Mumford shrinks...

    Little things we've noticed

On the same note, I noticed that one of the Oscar puppets used in season 25-26 had a crooked mouth.

The new What Made You Smile Today thread

This made me smile a lot. And also...I think someone's cutting onions in here. EDIT: Sofi also gave Jaheim a pair of socks, a shirt, and the backpack in which everything came in. Faith in humanity restored...

The... -wait fer it-... "What made you laugh today?" Thread

I watched some videos of Dana Carvey's micro-impressions, and boy are they funny! My favorites are the impersonations of Paul McCartney on Mars, "Barack Obama starts an outboard motor," and "Tom Brokaw asks 'Where is the library?' in Spanish." Some samples for your viewing pleasure:

    Little things we've noticed

Yeah that's where I stand. Even in his later performances, Frank Oz was an ace at ad-libbing. Look at the 2004 episode where Cookie Monster writes the "King Cookie" story with Gabi's help. Frank did an amazing job in that one. And let's not forget Grover in the Outrageous Makeover sketch...

    Little things we've noticed

I remember seeing this video a while ago. Ricky just burst out laughing like a hyena for a good twenty seconds or so. Honestly, he was no match for Kevin that day. If I recall, Kevin ended up laughing at one of his own jokes, but amazingly he remained in character and emitted Elmo's...

    Little things we've noticed

I have a question for MC members who have studied the puppetry styles of the Sesame Street performers. Which puppeteer do you think is/was the best at ad-libbing? I think that Frank Oz is, has been, and always will be the king of Muppet ad-libs, given his performances as Cookie Monster...

The “What did you do today?” thread

I got some exercise for the first time in a while! Rode a stationary bike and used a rowing machine. ***Tip: when working out, listen to the Foo Fighters. They've got some top-quality music that really gets the adrenaline going, at least for me anyway.
