    Sesame Street Old School Outlines

Here is Outline 105, just before the year ends. This one chronicles the gang's arrival in New Mexico and the introduction of Luis's sister and niece. Plus, Herry Monster sings about his mother, Grover assists with Prairie Dawn's pageant, and a rare but hysterical Muppet skit based on the song...

    Little things we've noticed

Rewatching the Raquel Welch episode of the Muppet Show...I noticed how no other Muppets were backstage during Raquel and Fozzie's duet "Confide in Me." If I were one of the Muppets, I'd be super envious if I saw or found out about that.

The “What did you do today?” thread

Today I did something really special in the holiday spirit: I watched Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas for the first time. And it was really, really good. :)

    Sesame Street Old School Outlines

This year marks the 42nd anniversary of Sesame Street's New Mexico trip. To honor the occasion, I've decided to write a series of six outlines about a brand-new visit to New Mexico. Over this arc, the cast visits Luis's younger sister (played by actress Carla Pinza, who is rumored to have...

The... -wait fer it-... "What made you laugh today?" Thread

The Schweddy Balls sketch makes me laugh every time. I forgot how funny the Hanukkah song is, too...

    Jesse's Girl (A 1990s SST Fan Fiction)

And now...the conclusion to the story. I've been working on the previous three chapters for about four months, and this is kind of a bittersweet moment. But perhaps there may be a sequel in the future. Thanks to everyone who has read it and supported my work, and happy holidays! CHAPTER 10...

    Jesse's Girl (A 1990s SST Fan Fiction)

CHAPTER 9 Gina and Jesse stared into each other’s eyes. Both of them had incredibly passionate feelings for the other, but neither one of them spoke up. Elmo peered over the wall and then climbed back down. “Nothing yet,” he said. “Gina and Jesse have been very quiet for a LONG time!”...

    Jesse's Girl (A 1990s SST Fan Fiction)

CHAPTER 8 Rosita, Telly, Elmo, and Big Bird couldn’t help but laugh at each other’s disguises. “Wow Elmo,” Big Bird chuckled. “You and Telly certainly found some really good disguises for us!” “Yeah, Big Bird!” Elmo said. “Nobody will know it’s us…not even Gina and Jesse!” “Gee,” Telly...

    Little things we've noticed

I can see why...live-hand Muppets are more expressive than rod Muppets for the most part. They can pick up objects, count on their hands, point, and do things that rod Muppets can't do as easily. I feel like the breakdown is this: the Sesame performers who did or have done live-hand puppets...

    Little things we've noticed

Let's not forget these other classic bits with Jim Henson performing a Live-Hand Muppet. However, I've noticed that Jerry Nelson's Lavender Live-hand Muppets became quite famous. Jim seemed to do mostly one-shot characters, while Jerry's characters included the Count, Biff, the Amazing...

    When you need to rant...

Thank you for writing this. I, too, am having some personal struggles with a family member who I will not mention. Unfortunately he fits exactly into that mold you described: several bad things have happened to him and now he doesn't want to try to make things better for himself or the family...

    Sesame Street Old School Outlines

Hi! I just went through a few pages on this thread, and outlines 43, 44, 46, 49, 56, 61, 65, 73, 85 and 99 feature scenes with Big Bird and Snuffy. There isn't one that revolves entirely around them, but hopefully I will get around to writing one. Feel free to browse those outlines I...

Who's Your Most/Least Favorite Sesame Street guest star?

Going off the top of my head...Madeline Kahn, Lena Horne, Johnny Cash, Andrea Martin, Ray Charles, and Norah Jones are at the top for me. On the other hand, I personally didn't care much for Wyclef Jean's version of Healthy Food, or for the appearances by Seth Green and Spike Lee.

    Sesame Street Old School Outlines

Number 102 features Maria, David, Luis, Big Bird, and Oscar. Plus, Roosevelt Franklin talks about up and down, Cookie and Herry sing a duet, and several classic animations like 30 Dots, Melvin the Moving Man, and Lovely Eleven Morning! Sesame Street Old School Outline 102 Season 4: David...

    Little things we've noticed

However, he played central characters on the Muppet Show, mainly Scooter and Statler who appeared in nearly every episode. Then Beaker and Janice became well-known too, so it must have been worth the wait. I agree that it's a shame that he never had a breakout star on SS like Elmo, Cookie...
