    Update - Timelife Muppet DVDs!

They make it sound so cool, as if there are 5 new volumes coming out. But that's not the case. These are the 5 volumes that have been out for well over a year now on VHS. I got them in January or so. Will I be buying them again on DVD? You bet your bippy I will be. I show support in products I...

Kermitage - The Muppet Show Episode Guide Goes Live!

Wonderful! Congrats to all involved. I'm greatly looking forward to what else Kermitage has in store. I notice that Season One and Two have only production dates and no air dates. Is there a reason for this? I'm also curious as to why the decision was made to sort by the guest star's...

    Muppet What Not Figure

What a great idea! I think a bucket-o-muppet-parts would be so cool. I'd buy it and it would make for great gifts for nieces and nephews!

    Goodbye to Jim Henson song

Elmo did a version, too: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000029ZP/ Although I believe it was written for Snoopy: The Musical. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000000PG3/ And yes, it was on The Muppet Show 2 LP...

Series 1 Figures and Busts Come To England !

Wow. If that's the case, you're getting the busts way earlier than the US will be. Sideshow Weta won't be shipping until November. How is the UK getting them five months in advance?

Question regarding the "Sesame Street" A&E Biography...

LOL, you sound as if you're trying to justify liking Sesame Street at 19. You must be new. A warm welcome to you :)

    How was C3PO operated?

Yeah, that's why he was chosen for the job in the first place all those years ago. He's made comments in his Star Wars Insider columns over the years about having to squeeze into it again after gaining a little weight in the waist, etc. It's a good thing he's stayed somewhat fit!

Muppet Show Season 1 Guide Discussions

Fantastic! You've misspelled Avery Schreiber in the drop-down menu. I would love to see someone do a Muppet character reference database website with pictures and names of all the Muppets. Good work here, congrats to all!

    How was C3PO operated?

You're both right actually. In the original trilogy and Episode II, Anthony Daniels is inside the costume. In Episode I, because he's still naked and see-through and whatnot, he was operated by puppeteers (Daniels part-time, and others) in a green suit in front of a green screen. Much the way...

    New Muppet Show Watches

Definately pricey for a product that looks like it should come in a plastic bubble at a candy machine.

Sideshow Muppet busts are finally released!

Sweet! I think $50-60 is just right. I pay for quality. If they were any cheaper, we'd be getting a cheaper product. Simple as that. It's too bad that three of the four in Series 1 are the same characters in the first series in the Palisades line. It would have been nice to get some other...

Did Jim play piano for Ol' Brown Ears?

Hey, I just posted during the same recorded minute as you Phil. Do I get a prize? :p I'd have posted this earlier, but I'm limited to how many posts I can make. Weird. What are the advantages to that I wonder?

Did Jim play piano for Ol' Brown Ears?

Phil must have just fixed it because now it says: "Piano and vocal tracks produced by Jim Henson." Interesting that some of the songs had a symphony played in them. I didn't think the small orchestra used were contracted to play any of those.

    Muppet Christmas Carol on DVD?

Way to go "Muppeholic" :) Every Muppet fan should write a letter to Disney just like this. I hope everyone who reads this board, *has* sent such a letter.

Disney vs Henson - video file

A while back on the Delphi board, someone posted a fan-made video file they'd put together of a space battle between Disney and Henson. It involved Eisner assimilating the Muppets a la the Borg from Star Trek. It was really quite well done. I don't remember who it was - I was still very new...
