    What was Disney thinking?

Fools. Fox's "Titan A.E." and Disney's "Atlantis" were both fantastic. While I haven't been to many movies over the past few months, I did sneak away to see "Spirited Away," which was absolutely gorgeous. Frog bless (see what Danny's got me doing?) John Lasseter. I wish someone in the...

Things to look for in It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas

Re: Things to look for in It's A Very Merry Muppet Chirstmas Yeah, the Beethoven bust is actually in the same exact spot as it was in at least one episode of The Muppet Show as I saw it there just the other day. I forget which one it was, but it's one of the eps from the Time-Life releases...

Were Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzy and Gonzo ever recurring characters on Sesame Street?

Kermit was a regular on Sesame Street, the others never appeared. Conversely, Ernie and Bert appeared together on the Connie Stevens episode of The Muppet Show, and Big Bird was on the Leslie Uggams ep. A whole slew of them made a special appearance at the end of the Marty Feldman episode as...

    Wanted: Unedited Muppet Family Christmas

Re: muppet family christmas uncut dvd? Region 2 is still waiting for their DVD release, but it's assumed that their version would, like the PAL VHS release, retain the omitted stuff. The only scene that the PAL version left out was this tiny clip (which will soon be available as part of Mark...

    Gonzo's Christmas Song

Neat, I'll keep listening in the hopes that I hear the other version. How different is it from the film version? pIanesmistaken: Sure, it starts a little depressing, but it takes a turn for the uplifting once Kermit intervenes... don't you think? (at least, I *hope* you get that out of it :))

Elmo's World: Happy Holidays to air on PBS

Well, I missed it today, but maybe I can catch it on Saturday. I used to make a habit of getting all Muppet DVDs that were released, but that was before I went broke. Where in Mass are you Drtooth?

I didn't know who Poodlepants was either, but apparently he's seated in the theatre, of the two highlighted here, on the left. Does anyone know who the guy on the right is?

    Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie

Re: FROGYQATSI Nice! I was going to do more with it, but got lazy and decided I could hide behind the "less is more" theory. Besides, I didn't feel like looking up the Hopi word for frog or even amphibian... and "Muppeqatsi" would be too obvious.
