Animal never sang the Mahna Mahna song despite where you find him credited as such. This is a misconception brought about by non-fans who didn't know his name so they guessed that it was Animal because the voice was crazy and scratchy. This misconception carried over into a remix of the tune as...
Gonzo's changed over years and grown in character. He's found his zen, but I don't think he's any less crazy. I love the development he's had and couldn't imagine it any other way.

Do you mean "Evening at Pops"? Sesame Street has appeared on the Boston Pops program twice that I know of: 1971 and 2000.
Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops were also prominently featured on the excellent special Sesame Street Presents Peter & the Wolf.

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but "Cereal Girl" is on the Time-Life Best of Sesame Street CD.
I was glad to learn that it's also on the "Let's Eat" video, thanks for that!
