    Oscar's relationships

Curly, I guess, as in Moe, Larry, and Curly of the 3 Stooges. Oscar used to ALWAYS call Gordon "Curly" and Maria "Skinny" (Sonia Manzano LOVED when Carroll Spinney flattered her with that) - especially in the late 70's, early 80's episodes... ...but I guess it's too un-PC for him to do...

    Oscar's relationships

Oscar used to also call Gordon "Curly." In the episode where they all prepare to go to Puerto Rico, Oscar tells Gordon to come over and lift his trash can off the barrel by saying: "Hey Curly, come over here!"

Sesame Street episode #1037 to DVD/VHS!

This is the one where Buffy sings to Big Bird about how she'll never neglect him, even though she has a new baby (from 1977).

Sesame Place theme park celebrates 25 years

Oh, and one more tip: When you go to the park, you can always ask an employee (usually the one who rips your ticket stubs) which chraracter is going to be available to take pix and when and where they'll be standing. So, in addition to Big Bird, Elmo, and Cookie at the 1-2-3 Smile with Me...

Sesame Place theme park celebrates 25 years

For the record, I've been to SESAME PLACE three times, 2002, 2004, and 2005, and BERT and ERNIE have ALWAYS been visible to take pictures in Sesame Neighborhood (you know, the garden area with the tire swing) between Hooper's Store and 123 Sesame Street.

Sesame Place theme park celebrates 25 years

If what's you're looking for is just pictures with the SESAME STREET characters, then the breakfast isn't really that necessary. You see, they have this new kiosk set up in the park, called 1-2-3 SMILE WITH ME, which is basically just a small building where there's 3 actors dressed as Big...

    why were there three gordons?

Mike, could you please stop trying to police this forum? If a person wants to make his or her own assumptions, even if you don't agree with them, then let them!!! You come across as very aggressive. You always tell people: "Why don't you move this topic to another forum" or "Your questions...

A guide to errors in Sesame Street Unpaved

Hmmmm. Interesting. Jerry Nelson did say that performing Snuffy caused problems to his back, so that could verify someone else playing the body while he dubbed the voice later on.

Sesame Place theme park celebrates 25 years

Just went to SESAME PLACE during 4th of July weekend. The trip overall? SO-SO. LONG LINES. Especially the food lines. It took 30 minutes, standing in line, to get a hamburger. The problem is that they're understaffed, and these local Philadelphia teenagers are WAY too **** slow in...

A guide to errors in Sesame Street Unpaved

But Marty Robinson DID take over for Jerry Nelson though - at least for the front end and the voice. Jerry was doing Snuffy even up til 1978, 1979, during the Hawaii and Christmas Eve on Sesame Street episodes. Marty took over in 1980. I've never even heard of Michael Davis. Are you SURE...

The kids on Sesame Street: Where are they now?

Nope. I'm right about this one. Sally was played by Holly Robinson.

The kids on Sesame Street: Where are they now?

Don't forget that it was Holly Robinson Peete, of "21 Jump Street" fame and Matt Robinson's real-life daughter, who played Sally in the pilot episode and season 1 back in 1969-1970.
