Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
I'll post the link to my review again so you can read it, GonzoGirl! Read it or I'll send Sam the Eagle over to your house to give you a lecture on why you should read my reviews! Also read the review on the Muppet Central main page! It's for GameCube and PS2, and it's fairly decent...
I do! I do! I miss that show a lot. I loved watching it when I was a kid, and I still enjoy it now! I'd love to get all the Muppet Babies plushes that have the episodes on DVD, but it's not practical for me to buy them like that. I think that show holds up well, even today.

At work I wore my green dress shirt (but I did bring my tall felt stovepipe leprechaun hat just for fun). When I got home I celebrated St. Patrick's Day by mowing my GREEN lawn for the first time this season, then took a shower and changed into my Legend of Zelda T-shirt, because it is also...
It doesn't mean anything when put all together as far as I can tell. I took a lot of German classes in high school and college so I can still recognize some words and phrases and things. I'm better at reading it than speaking it, though. My favorite phrase in German is "Essen Sie nicht die...

Don't forget to wear green today.
I like green, so I wear green a lot.

I've got a little bit of Irish in me...somewhere from my mom's side.
Blue streak, speeds by,
ryhoyarbie the hedgehog
Too fast, for the naked eye,
ryhoyarbie the hedgehog
ryhoyarbie, he's in the mood
ryhoyarbie, he's got an attitude
ryhoyarbie, he's the fastest thing alive!
:p

I can be silly sometimes.
I like the part where the guy and girl are kissing in the car and Joel says, "Go Speed Racer!"
Sorry, I just had to chirp in with that. I'm a MST3K nut.

Now who'd want Joe the Armadillo as a roommate?
I think my favorite one is when Bert asks Ernie to make a grocery list, so Ernie is trying to find something to write with but he can't find anything (the point of the skit was to name things you can write with). Eventually Ernie wrote the list with spaghetti sauce, and the last thing on the...
That was great, Fozzie!
Working at a chuch (and sorting their mail), I've noticed that a lot of churches have puppet ministries. That would be a great thing to get into. I'd probably do that myself if I had more time and knew more about puppets (I know nothing).
I'm lucky. I majored in...
Of course you know I’d have to talk about this movie sometime. You may be wondering why I haven’t talked about it sooner, especially those who know how important my religion is to me and just the fact that I work at a church! But I didn’t want to say anything about it until I actually saw the...
Tokyo Pig was just a little bit TOO incomprehensible for me. (kinda like Excel Saga) Wonder whose idea it was to bring Pig to the US.
Funny thing about Gunbare Goemon is that it pretty much takes just about every anime stereotype and rolls it all into one show. It's almost a parody of...
Exactly.
Actually most anime is kind of the same after a while.
My favorites? Eh...I dunno...
"I Wanna Be an Angel" maybe. Or Kirby. I like my new Gunbare Goemon DVDs (Legend of the Mystical Ninja). As long as it's silly I'll probably like it.

Funny story. Funny thing you said there, Fozzie, also.
Greeters in our Wal-Marts are either mannerly senior adults or snobby teenagers.
Our wholesale Wal-Marts are called Sam's, and they used to have greeters, too. One greeter was an elderly man who would greet people with songs that he...
Yeah, too bad the one near Dallas closed down. It was like a McDonald's PlayPlace x200,000.
I went to it when I was very very little. The two things I remember most was waiting in line to buy tickets, and I made friends with this kid in the line in front of me and we played together the...
