So Bad They're Good: Cult Films

Tell me about it! As far as I know, none of the soundtrack is available on iTunes. Well, there's karaoke tracks, but no vocal stuff. Also, I was recently listening to a podcast with Alan Menken and he said that he's in the process of revamping Newsies for the stage.

Steve's Muppets: A Recipe for Pain?

I'd hardly say that Bert talking down to Ernie is anything recent.

    Kobe and LeBron puppet commercial

The 'Unstoppable Game Tape' episode won't play. Man, I can hardly tell that that's Kenan doing that voice! I'm a big fan of Kenan Thompson. Who's doing Kobe's voice? Also, what company provided the puppets? If I didn't know any better, I'd say that they're Rick Lyon's handiwork.

    The Muppet Bus on SNL

It's not hard to do; if Jim was alive to see MWoO, he would not be a happy camper.

    RIP Wayne Allwine

Little known fact- Allwine was Jimmy MacDonald's protege in the Sound Effects department at Disney. Naturally, I'm sad to hear of his passing; he seemed like a genuine person. How old was he?

What was 'harsh' about it? Kevin handled that like a true professional; go, Kevin!

    Lanford questions

I was recently watching "Playing Til It Hurts", and I got the impression that Lanford doesn't really like Gobo. Anyone else ever get that feeling?

"Gee, I wish I were you people..."

I agree; for as innovative as the bike sequence was, they could have found a better way to incorporate it into the story. It's like "Okay, they're fighting, they're fighting... oh look, now they're riding bikes!"

"Gee, I wish I were you people..."

There's very little about GMC that doesn't grate me. Though I must say, for all its faults it's by far the most quotable of the Muppet movies.

Music video parodies you wish Sesame could have done

One that I always thought would be ideal for SS was "Hey You, Get Offa My Cloud": a bale of hay and the letter U sitting on a cloud. Maybe The Cobblestones could've done it .

    Nostalgia Chick: Labyrinth

I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with the Nostalgia Critic series of web videos. Well, on the same site, there's the Nostalgia Chick, and her latest video deals with none other than "Labyrinth"! So, I thought you'd be interested in seeing it; here's the link: http://blip.tv/file/1907308/...

    Lanford questions

Rob was the body of Junior Gorg for the bulk of the series. He also performed Baby Poison Cackler from "The Trial of Cotterpin Doozer", the titular Blue Dragon from "Red's Blue Dragon", the titular Glob from "Boober and the Glob", Merkey Merrgle from "Beyond The Pond", and the lizard that...

    The Darkwing Duck Thread

Never saw the show, but played the board game religiously! It's been a long time since I've played it, but I remember being captivated by the designs of the characters. The only villian whose name I remember is Tuskerninni, but maybe someone can identify the other villians based on the...

    Cam Clarke

Boy, he sure voiced Simba a lot, didn't he? But probably my favorite character of his is Mac, since my mom is very active in rescuing greyhounds. Sure, Mac could be a real jerk sometimes, but he's got such a lovable-looking design that you can't help but love him!

    Sister Act: The Musical

Uber-Update! The show is set to debut in May 2009 at the Palladium (sp?) Theater in London. Tickets will be 40 pounds, or 80 American dollars. As Andy already mentioned, the show will definitely be set in the 1970's, but that's not all: it'll have a disco-themed score! We'll see what happens.
