Noggin is going to give Sesame Street even less airtime

They have done research at Noggin, and their target audience actually likes those shows. Amazing, but true.

Sesame Street Letter/Number Guide: season 1

It wasn't in every edition of TV guide, was it? Ok, so now we know the letters and numbers that sponsored these shows, but I wanna see some of these shows! The ones that weren't on Unpaved, and the ones that were at one time.

Noggin is going to give Sesame Street even less airtime

Great idea! Hey, I have a better idea! You can call the number for Noggin, (212) 654-7077 (or it might be 7707), and ask to speak to Meeri Park, the director of programming at Noggin, and tell her how you feel about this! I loved those 1993-94 episodes, as well as Sesame Street Unpaved...

Your Thoughts: Play With Me Sesame Season 2

Then why do they keep decreasing the airing of it? Ok, in place of the second PWMS is now yet another airing of Franklin. So now that's on 3 times a day, instead of 2. Do we really need that? Same with the second 123 SS. It's replaced by Connie the Cow, and a 3rd airing of Maisy! It's obvious...

Your Thoughts: Play With Me Sesame Season 2

I took a look at Noggin's schedule, and, Oh, NO!!! Now PWMS is being decreased from twice a day to only once. From now on, it will only be on at 8 am Eastern. So now they have both 123 SS and PWMS only on once a day (not counting the 5 am et airing of 123 SS, because that's not really part of...

Do any of these Sesame clips ring a bell?

Oh, yes, I remember both of them.

Your 10 Favorite Sesame Street Songs

Sadly, the reason why they will never release those rare songs is because, excluding all of us on Muppet Central, nobody really cares about that stuff anymore BECAUSE it's so rare. They were never released on records, or even on the show very much, and nobody's ever heard of them. It is very...

SSE: What year do these characters first and last appear?

Here's what I think is the thing with Baby Natasha, and Ingrid. The muppet may have been created in the mid 80s, but she didn't have a name until later.

The first one you're talking about can currently be seen on one of the Season 31 episodes that Noggin is currently airing.

Getting to know the Sesame Street Animators

Jeffrey Hale did a lot of animations in the late 80s. And he wrote music for songs by that banjo playing turtle, as in the song "Green Grow the Rushes."

Who remembers the play about dental hygiene?

Hi, I'm now telling you that I'm a boy, not a girl. Everyone gets it wrong online. Now could you please just e-mail me so that you don't spam the forum?

Getting to know the Sesame Street Animators

The Indian Counting 1-20 song was written by Darby Slick, so I would assume so. There were Pinball segments for all numbers from 2-12. The animation with the yo-yo man with the lost boy, the song was written by John Magneusson. Imagination, Inc. was a very big animation company. They...

SSE: What year do these characters first and last appear?

May I make a few corrections? Mama Bear: 1991-present Papa Bear: 1991-present Bruno: 1977-1993 The Cat (from Cat In The Fiddle): 1974 The Duck: 1987?-present Ernestine: 1987-present Furline Husky: 1984 Grundgetta: 1977-2000 Grover's Mom: 1977-2001 Herry's Mom: 1977-1983 Herry's Dad...

Getting to know the Sesame Street Animators

There was also one called "Henson Computer #10 Song." It was an animation from season 2, and it looked like it was a muppet made of wires, but it was actually computer animated. Must have been state of the art for the time.

DVD Series of every Sesame Street episode ever made

If there was a "Best of...." set, I would want all the Unpaved shows, plus a lot more than that. See, it's such a long show, there's so much material, it's hard to decide. This is why I think they should just release all of them!

    When's the next Sesame movie?

No, you're not. I remember it. It may have been one of the few later Kermit skits. At least, I never saw it until about 1998. I remember the girl ball was Fran Brill, but I don't remember the boy ball that well. But I do remember the skit.

(sigh) No, I haven't. I have been very busy, and I can't send it without your address. It takes a lot of work to copy tapes, but I will get to yours.

Who remembers the play about dental hygiene?

I know exactly why the name of the thread was changed. This thread was originally about the tooth pageant, NOT the butterfly pageant. I think it changed so that we could get back on topic. It's been SO long since I've seen the tooth pageant, I don't remember all that much about it.
