Target has muppet, magnts, notebooks, pencils and pencil holders as well as socks at target. Now My experience is that no all targets gett he same items so happy hunting. The pictures they used were pretty good too (No Fozzie with weird scarfs)
I think Kermit was a tad somber in the last one but it suited the story....Likewise VMMC.... But both he wasn't one dimensional...his place in Muppets from Space seemd a little flat...but I think in those days it was more Gonzo and Rizzo anyways so kermit kind of took a back seat to everything
I found the fao Fozzie Bear puppet at a Toys R US here in Texas but the prices went up it seems from what they were when they first came out....did you get to make a what not at FAO? If not I bet it was at least cool to see the what not workshop.
I don't think Kermit has become bland...but I do feel he has gotten a little too serious....but he seems to be played as the leading man/everyman type...like a cary Grant or Jimmy Stewart type (not that Kermit ever played any parts similar to Jimmy stewart in its a wonderful life or anything :)...
first of all the Muppets was the Muppets..if for no other reason it is after all the title of the movie ;) all kiddig aside (if we can in fact ever actually put Kidding aside...my wife argues that that is something i am incapable of doing).... my friends and various people I have had to convince...
That being said I loved the vido...what a great perfomance and the video looks really polished.I've been doing ideos for years and mine don't look anywhere near as refined as that.
Well Ted is actually quite vulgar and crude...can't see the Muppets going there either... makes fart shoes look tame... I think you can be edgy without a) being that vulgar and b) without using computer graphics (My Five Year Old: "Why can't I see that movie with the bear?" :) )
CGI would not be the Muppets...Love Cgi...The Pizar films are amazing and I loved the Hulk in Avengers a great deal....and who could forget Gollum in Lord of the RIngs...and Jar Jar Binks performanc in Star Wars was Oscar Worthy...wait forget that last one...but the Muppets need to be Puppets...
Maybe I'm being negative here but I think if this aired on a network this would be killed by how modern ratings are done..it is not even a matter of having high ratings it is a matter of having the rate ratings with the right demographice (Harry's law...the highest rated scripted show on NBC was...
I'm all for more Alf...always hated how the sitcom ended...the project Alf movie was prety cool too.. I'd rather see something different than an outright remake.... as lon as Alf stays true to himeslf it should work
Hope it works out for you Pinky....I'm guessing if you didn't get a return to sender thats a good thing...wen we did write it took a lon time (Months) to get a response.... but we got a nice letter and the student who sent for these also got a signed picture of Rowlf. I wish the Muppeteers did...
See now back when I got my autograph we wrote to the Muppet holding company adress but I don't think that one is valid anymore... I remember hearing stories at the time how they would get together while they were working on a projects (Probably wizard of Oz) and sign photos.... don't know if its...
Wow! I've never met anyone who openly claims to be an anarchist...not that I have a problem with that... as a history teacher I know there are a lot of events in history where anarchists' beliefs have been misinterpreted. Just find it interesting. I love discussng politics myself...though this...
