I don't know. Peter's Elmo pretty much sounds exactly like Tutter to me. While the most important part of bringing a puppety character to life is the puppeteering, the voice is still really important. Then again, this is only a few seconds of voice, so I guess I should wait to make judgements.
Every woman in that cinema (including the ones I saw it with) acted exactly the same way. I'm with George over in the back.
Yeah... effort... definite... dream the dream... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....................
As I live and grow, I begin to notice one thing more and more every single year - The Oscars is a worthless, snobby ceremony for pretentious rich people to go to and wave their giant Hollywood... flags... in front of the common folk. I don't need to watch something because it won an OZCAH. I...
If I can get something at a store, I'll go there instead of getting it online. As I do with Barney DVDs, I'll probably get these Sesame Street DVDs from Wal-Mart. I'm not the kind of guy who's going out of his way to get a Sesame DVD. (Except for A Special Sesame Street Christmas, but that one...
I think I was the only one hoping that Brave would win. Why? Well, let's look at the films that were nominated.
Brave - While definately one of Pixar's lesser films, it was still a very well-made movie with a very well-told story. The development of both the mother and daughter characters was...
Plus, it was still very easy to find it on DVD or Blu-Ray while it was playing in theaters. (I know it was out of print for that time, but many stores still had copies of it lying around)
Nevermind that question. I just looked up the DVD on Chapters' website, and they have it avaliable for pre-order for a March 19 release. I'm obviously not paying $19 for this thing, though. Like with the Elmo, the Musical DVD, I'll be willing to take this one for about $10; maybe a little more...
Oh, fantastic.
If it's priced in the range of $10 or less (Wal-Mart sells Big Elmo Fun for a pretty hefty price of $14.97, for example) I'll get it.
Oh, I'm sure we'll get an Elmo, the Musical DVD one of these days. If it's cheap enough, I might pick it up, to see what the segment is like. The YouTube previews advertise it well, I must say. (And as DrTooth said, it just has to be better than Elmo's World)
So... Batman wants a 1998 VHS of Barney's Dino Dancing Tunes (a video that was released on VHS in 2001) because he wants a 2003 VHS of Elmo's World: Babies, Dogs & More... BATMAN wants ELMO AND BARNEY VIDEOS...
So how about them Oogies, huh?
Fluttershy : can i have the barney halloween party vhs?
Daddy : No! you have a bunch of Barney stuff.
Fluttershy : WAHHHH!!
daddy : i'll punch you!
fluttershy : no way!
sister : this is a great movie!
Fluttershy : i wanna go home!
Now, THAT'S a Friendship is Magic episode that I'd love to...
