    Star Wars meet Sesame Street?

True- that's why I said technically. Technically- The Star Wars Holiday Special is still an official Star Wars production set in its own universe- not just a guest spot on another show (both children's shows as well with The Muppet Show and Sesame Street) I just kinda meant that in fun...

    Star Wars meet Sesame Street?

Probably about as much as they consider Luke Skywalker's, C-3P0's, R2-D2's and Chewbacca's appearances on The Muppet Show as canon!:) The sad thing is- technically, you have to take The Star Wars Holiday Special as canon!:D

    Star Wars meet Sesame Street?

Yes- it's on Youtube- I should know- I posted it!;) This was something I found off a Star Wars web site that's pretty much defunct now I think... so check it out- it's in 4 parts and includes takes from the dailies- very cool!:)

    Don't Eat the Pictures

This was a great 1983 special produced to help promote the Metropolitan Museum of Art, obviously. "Don't Eat the Pictures" is an awesome Sesame Street video! I really enjoyed it- but I was little freaked out at seeing all the Egyptian mythology and stuff...was it actually a demon that was...

Mike appreciation thread! (anybody remember him?)

    Question about"A Magical Halloween Adventure"

I've got "A Magical Halloween Adventure" and it's definitely just a separate Sesame Street special- no inserts or anything...MUCH- though there are a few live action videos of kids picking the harvest on a farm and cutting pumpkins. You can view my review of it here on this thread...

    Aloysius Snuffleupagus

Wow- I had totally forgotten about Gus, but now that someone brought it up, he does sound vaguely familiar ("vaguely familiar"-:concern: ) Does anyone have any pictures, sounds or video clips, or other descriptions to help refresh my memory?

Kermit outdoors and in full form in songs

Interesting observations about Kermit on Sesame Street! Kermit also sang "Get Along" in the outdoors- in a park area. I don't think his legs were shown though- at least not that I remember right off hand. What about "My Pollywog Ways", and "If I Were"?:)

    Gordon appreciation thread

Gordon definitely fills very much of a father figure role on Sesame Street and I can see how he's filled that role especially toward Big Bird. Really of course I love all the Sesame Street humans- but Gordon definitely seems to be one of the most understanding and caring ones- and usually...
