Here's another one that I ironically, or perhaps fittingly, forgot!
What about Forgetful Jones? Surely there's enough sketches and songs to fill a "Best Of" release for him, Clementine and Buster! You could also throw in some of the Western sketches and songs in general if any filler bits were...
Hmm- I can't imagine that Ernie wouldn't interact with Abby eventually. Interesting. I'm up for whoever they might want to bring into Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures- though at the same time, it also seems that these claymation episodes focus on just them mainly, so guest stars like Elmo...
It is nice to see a modern animation take on the Pinball Number Count classic. But I think I'm still gonna prefer the original classic- but it's cool if a newer version introduces it to kids today. Though for the record, today's kids also enjoy the original animated classics, as my nephews can...
Ha ha- couldn't help but think of Miss Bitterman's quote from "It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie" there. It could happen.
I haven't seen this "Elmo's Backyard" yet- what is this segment?
It certainly wouldn't bother me to not have the Elmo's World segments on Sesame Street...
Doubt Elmo's ever met Roosevelt Franklin or Beautiful Day Monster either, for that matter. But there's a lot of characters that have come through Sesame Street since before Elmo was around, so it only stands to reason that there will be a number of older characters that he hasn't interacted...
That would be a HUGE DVD set! WOW!
But it would be quite cool if it ever happened.
I would definitely agree about maybe getting some sequel releases for Ernie and Bert, Big Bird, Cookie Monster and Grover. I definitely would love to see The Best of Kermit on DVD along with maybe a follow-up...
I will probably wind up repeating most of the ones already mentioned, but some of my favorite non-Henson puppets include:
Kukla, Fran and Ollie
Captain Kangaroo
Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood (Land of Make Believe RULES! By far, this is probably one of my top favorites- mainly because I also just...
What? How can you not see that Janice is a girl? She's pretty clearly seen as Floyd's girlfriend on many occasions....
As someone who probably googles Janice (and the rest of the Muppets) more than a normal person should- lol- I've got to say- lay off of Janice already! (Boober sigh...
Dude- a Super Grover costume is totally awesome! How could anyone mistake him for Elmo or Cookie Monster? Well- okay, at least Cookie Monster is blue. But seriously- Elmo? He's a cute red little monster- much shorter than Grover. Grover however is the original cute monster! lol:super:
Where is that Boober smiley? Ha ha- I love Boober! I also love it when Gobo tells him, "Boober! Don't be such a boober!"
Or when all the rest of the gang tell Wembley- "Wembley! Stop wembling!" LOL.
Ha ha- cool. I've noticed you seem to have a fair share of Muppet-related incidents.:D:)
Cool! The Muppet Wiki is incredible! (I particularly appreciate the Sesame Street episode guide- it would be so great if every episode could be filled in one of these days... a lofty goal, I know- but still I'd love to see it happen...) Very cool to have a page for this on Facebook...
WOOHOO! Very encouraging to hear some news on the new Muppet movie. And whoa- Uncle Deadly in the movie? That would rule! I hope we can see him and lots of other classic Muppets from The Muppet Show (and Muppets Tonight and The Jim Henson Hour, for that matter). Even just cameo appearances would...
Hey prawncracker- I saw this and was inspired to do just that in this thread here- http://forum.muppetcentral.com/showthread.php?p=823198#post823198
:)
I've got it and I thought it was great. I think I liked the first art style best, but the others were good too. The second one reminded of the cartoon series and I liked that too. I guess it's just that last one that wasn't really my favorite- but the stories were all good.
Right after...
Okay, so I got inspired from this thread (http://forum.muppetcentral.com/showthread.php?t=572), wherein lots of cool references to The Muppets from film and TV have been posted.
But what about for all those times in life when you just randomly have a reference to The Muppets? Here's a place to...
