I have been searching (maybe too hard?) for plastic half spheres which have a post in the center and some type of snap on thing. I have sifted thru numerous catalogs from novelty shops, plastic suppliers, and god knows what else to try and find exactly what I want..... but nothing in this shape...

A lot of builders will suggest drawing so that you can get an image of the features you want in the character your going to build. It will give you an idea of what your finished product will look like. Even if you don't draw well, you can still draw a circle or oval in the shape of what you want...

*Giggle* talk about bottom of the barrel desperation for the "perfect" fabric and texture! :p Actually, it does take quite a bit of imagination to picture a puppets construction from a simple rug. ;)
