My guess, just a guess, is that they wanted to have Cookie not really talk, just speak in baby babble, and one character who also does that is Treelo from Bear, and so Tyler Bunch peforms Baby Cookie.
I think Noel McNeal and Peter Linz are among my favorite performers. I really miss The Puzzle Place. Jim Martin was Ben on that show, so all three of them are awesome.
Actually the sloth on It's A Big Big World is performed by Peter Linz. Noel McNeal does not appear on the show. The sloth may resemble Bear because I believe Paul Andrejeco (sp?) built both of them.
John Tartaglia is no longer on Sesame Street. Jim Martin used to be the Oscar stand-in as well. And Ilikemuppets is correct, Matt Vogel is the right arm of Baby Bear and possibly Cookie Monster and Ernie.
I have been wondering this for a long time as well. I guess they think younger children cannot read too quickly, so they put less in the closed captioning. Just a guess?
I read somewhere she would have a supporting role in another episode. I think it makes no sense for all this publicity and so few appearances. Having Irvine back would be wonderful. I love any Marty Robinson character, especially a grouchy baby.
I was wondering the same thing about where Big Bird and Snuffy were, and who was that little pink character on the left hand side, I think sitting next to Rosita(?) It was great to see Lillas White again, especially in a role allowing her to sing.
My only gripe about the "Cookie World" episode is that I didn't want there to be an Elmo's World segment since Cookie already did just about everything that Elmo does. They could have used the time for more segments since Elmo takes up too much time and the street segments this year seem to be...
I kinda found the whole "Rocko" thing annoying and wanted to see Elmo either slap Zoe or walk away and talk to someone else instead, and I like Zoe! I thought this was a very good episode, good to see the Count on thr Street but I missed having an Ernie segment. The L&O segment was great. Did...
It's been on TV since January, so not really a long time, just a few months. It's on PBS in the mornings, maybe 10 am? It repeats a few times, might be on at 2. I love Peter as Snook.
Why would you need someone else to do a good Tutter?? Peter Linz is still very much around and active. He's on "It's A Big, Big World" but he's probably not so busy that he would be unavailable to do Tutter. I would like to see Treelo stick around as well in that case.
Well people were just talking about an actor named Carl Gordon playing Mr. Robinson in a season 35 episode, and I had seen this episode as well and the actor looked really familiar and so I looked up Carl Gordon on a website that lists TV/film credits, and it said that Mr. Gordon played Mr...
