Yep...and...
I reviewed the invisible figures awhile back:

Fozzie - http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_080702b.htm
I also have a complete archive up of the figures if you're looking for more pictures...
Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but Target's are starting to put out the Kermit and Miss Piggy bobbleheads. They had them on an endcap at the registers today when I stopped by.
They are with the Peanuts, Toy Story and others. Very cool!

Yep
Some of them are like that. Back when I reviewed them, I mentioned that mine had it, and you can actuallly just barely see it in the last picture of Kermit, above the 'I' in his name.

Wow!
Small world that it is, the winner is a friend of mine - we even work right in the same building. He mentioned it to me today, and I checked out the rest of the desktops. There's some terrific work there - congrats to all!

Rings at the top...
I like the suggestion of the boots on Spaceman Spiff - the rings at the top seem to fit into the overall design of the rest of the outfit.
And of course they have to have some sort of cool tread...

They usually are
EB tries to get close on those dates, but they always post their pre-orders so far in advance that it's awfully tough for them to not miss it.
They are usually overly optimistic too, which means they have to move the date back 9 times out of 10. Ah well, all good things...
Ken's right!
I have to agree fully with Ken on the idea of having multiple 'brands', splitting it out by film. It causes problems with retailers, and let's them think too much - you don't want them thinking too much.
This is way McToys is putting Wizard of Oz figures in the 'Monsters'...
TOMY
Didn't I hear Diamond was bringing some of the Magical Kingdom stuff over? I could have swore I heard that just recently...
I have the Monsters Inc related ones, and they are pretty darn cute.
Yep, did a quick search around, and Diamond should have them in comic shops in December...
My two cents...
I'm going to weigh in with a slightly different opinion, but only slightly.
Where it varies is whether anything produced these days will be worth anything 20-30 years from now. While it's true that what kids play with most will end up worth the most in the future, exactly...
I'm so used to it!
As a kid I was always 'Mike'. Just never fit me though, and once people actually started asking me what I preferred, I told them Michael. Of course, to my family, I'll always be Mike.
Good to hear things are selling well through most stores. Our TRU stores seem to have...
Hope...
I certainly hope so, particularly Wal-mart, although I imagine they are a mighty tough sell for any smaller company.
How well is series 1 selling in your area? It's not selling as well as I'd hoped around here, although I'm smart enough to understand that's not surprising. It...

Bean's Toys has a good price on-line:

TRU will be carrying them, but in the seasonal section I believe.

Yep...
...Mike and Sulley were given away with a drawing at each store. Getting them home, into the house, and somewhere in the room was a major issue. I even did a little feature on the whole process:

I also had to skip LOTR. As much as I...
Oh, I've been collecting awhile...
I've been collecting figures for about 14 years now. I have one or two, and I've found myself involved with more than one line, you might say.
