    * the only step in which I would deviate from your instruction is in tracing/cutting the head pattern. Laying them out in that manner saves on scrap, but the grain/stretch of each side of the head will differ. Thanks again for sharing actual patterns!

    Well done! He is quite dapper. As a personal preference, I would set the eyes a bit closer together and perhaps adjust the slant a scosche. I also think your Elmo is spot on!
