    Gonzo, Floyd, and Scooter Commercial

That clip's been on YouTube for some number of years now and I haven't been able to figure it out myself. It does look like a commercial or some sort of industrial film but it has the vibe of test footage or rehearsal for something. Maybe someone could get in touch with Karen Falk about this...

    Difference Between Puppets and Muppets?

In truth, there's actually not a difference. The Muppets are really a brand and style of puppetry started by Jim that are pretty much world renowned. The Muppets have people behind them to bring them to life, just as any puppet, who have the ability to make us feel empathy for them and learn a...

    Dynamite Determination: My Muppet Blog

Oh wow. I never looked at it that way. I always looked at Mahna Mahna being the Individual and the Snowths trying to get him to follow the crowd and him saying no different is better. I think that your angle on that is far more enduring than the popular belief of what the sketch is about. Your...

    Classic Muppets vs Current Muppets

True, true. TMS was never really aimed at any audience in particular. It was just a variety show with something for everyone. MT and many other things after that had a particular audience in mind which kept the writers and performers in a box, per say. The classic Muppets were also trying too...

    Just had a brilliant idea

They'd most likely make Gorch-esce puppets because the performers have to be able to pick up anything and add their own flair to each suggestion, therefore the character essence from those puppets cant be to strong in order for each performer to create a believable and hysterical persona for any...

    Muppet Impostors!

That's actually what that is. It's called "Le Bebete Show" and in ran from the late 80s to 1992 or somethin' like that. It was like a combo of "Spitting Image" and season 1 of TMS. They took French political leaders and caricaturized them as Muppets. They actually had guest stars too. I remember...

    Just had a brilliant idea

Don't think that would happen. Those puppets were made almost 30 years ago and are probably mostly toast (have you seen Scred? He's deteriorated very badly). I like that concept though. Maybe if you ask they could build some Gorch-esce puppets for the show.

Thanks Vincent Liu and Hurbert! Oh Hurbert, I've been reading your blog and it seems we have very similar views on life. I also tend to find deeper messages in many things I see and read also.

Hi Muppet Central! I'm NextJim1225 and I'm new to the forum. I'm 14 and my account name says it all; I'm very enthused about puppetry and looking to being a great world wide renowned puppeteer just like my idol and life lessons barer Jim Henson. I've got some brilliant ideas and concepts (I've...
