BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

Well Hubert the mathematician shall explain...complementary angles are angles that add together to make a right angle, or 90 degree angle. Therefore, a 50 degree angle and a 40 degree angle add together to make a 90 degree angle, making those two complementary.

BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

Your complement is a 50 degree angle, which complements a 40 degree angle. And this is not muffining, as I'm being scary with my math skills!

What did you expect? Normal people to waste their time voting for these jokers we got up for running? :p

    Muppet Smilies

You could do multiple things: the easiest is to copy the smilie (using right click on Windows or control key on Mac) and then paste it into your message. Of course you could also use the "Copy Link Location" button and insert the link into the little box that shows up when you hit the tree icon.

    Fozzie Illustration

So many funny things just happened to me here...first, I got really confused because I thought I was in the new member introduction thread, and then I thought that GonzoLover was saying "Hey Hubert" rather than "Hey Stuart"... But pertaining to this thread, very, very nice work going on here...

    The Compliment Thread

What an odd way to finish off saying that you were joking...

Because there's been an epidemic of ziffeling going on lately, and quoting you ensures that it won't look as if I was talking to the person who ziffeled me, but rather the person I am originally talking to.

    The Compliment Thread

You can, it's just that when you ask a question that could be taken literally and don't use any way to signify you're joking, it often leads to misinterpretation.

I'm still only like four hundred away from you...and the way that my posts are getting liked lately, I'm bound to catch you soon.
  18. Hubert

    The Compliment Thread

...you were joking? I just figured that someone asking if we should start a "thank you" thread wouldn't be joking. :p

My 4,204 isn't far off...and I posted like 40 times today and I haven't even started...I'll probably be at about 4,300 by the end of the night... :p

    The Compliment Thread

This is pretty much the thank you thread...the two are almost the same, other than the fact that you are praising someone or telling you that you praise them depending on the situation...I see no real trouble with thanking people here also.
