Well, whoever any big name who writes the music is going to want to perform it with the Fraggles so there's one of the celebrity cameos. I'm not quite sure of a cool band nowadays who could write and perform "Fraggly" music and want to do a kids movie for little money. I don't think Zappa just...
For what its worth, i'm a bit mixed on the idea. I like the idea they are trying to stay true to the show, and i like the idea that music will play a big part, and they don't really have much option other than to get a lot of the original crew back on board. What Zappa says is for the most...
Yeah it's pretty much widely rumored that Jim was aware that he was going to die in advance, at least in some way. He did a lot to tie up loose ends. I'm not sure Disney was part of this though.
Yeah it's interesting how they actually modelled plastic hair onto Bill for that Soldier thing, but its his real hair color and hair style.
And yeah, about that tushy shot. Personally i could have done without it but it's good to keep the ladies interested in the thread!
Yea i do agree there isn't much that is actually parodied. It's just the character likeness on a bomb. I get the message of the pop culture icon on the bomb, but then who wants a bomb? It doesn't do anything. I think the idea for the Kockblockerz is ok (although the name is awful once you've...
Well i've got two packets of peanuts, 3 sticks of chewing gum, and i'll offer for auction a date with a gratuituous penguin (which money can't usually buy), and i'll even personally sign copies of my new book - "Muffin Central - The Flame Wars".
Who are we fighting against? The Toughkids ran away long ago, and that Beaver Central dude, well he promised to remake the Muppet Show with his puppets - its probably him over in France.
There is a parody law, used more by artists, but major corporations can usually get around that by saying that because its merchandising it's deliberately profiting from their intellectual property and have the item shelved. I believe Ken said he had some communication with the lawyers from...
****, from the photo they do look like weebles don't they (probably could have made more money reviving weebles actually) but no, they're spoof pop culture-ised models of nuclear bombs. There's a Bert and Ernie one coming up in the future apparently.
I don't think i can mention Ken's next...
Maybe they won't use Doc, seeing as Doc was only in the USA version and it'd basically mean that wherever they show the movie internationally nostalgic 20 somethings will kinda go "who?". I mean in the UK the fraggles lived in a lighthouse, so how do you suddenly explain them living in a...
