I have to wonder: on the cement, was that Kermit signature there what Jim was using as Kermit's official signature when necessary? I kind of like it, it's a lot better than the huge fancy thing we have now.

Wow, that's a pretty interesting thought. It's been so long since I've watched KSY (I tend to avoid it when possible), that I can't remember everything, but I kinda see what you mean. I might have to watch it again and check things out under that mindset.

GMC was before TMTM, so that shouting in GMC would predate yours. I'm wondering, could there have been a TMS episode where he shouted it, maybe in reference to a female guest star? Just a wild idea...

Watching GMC today, I just had to wonder: does anyone know when the first time that Animal shouted these famous lines? For some reason I don't remember, was it GMC? It seems like it should have been earlier, yet I can't recall when that might be.

:oops: That is true, you would think that to come up with this elaborate design, you would think that they would add some important stuff like that.

Not much, just different ways he moves his head and has his mouth position has some different surprise effects. One is more of a shock surprise (the one you had), but then other minor movements show more of a surprise, yet also some annoyance in it.

So this is a new Kermit then? Looks great, much higher quality than many Kermits that have been coming out. :) Though I have the suspicion that he doesn't have his 11 collar points...

I would imagine they didn't include that because it isn't as commonly seen as well as the fact that it really doesn't mesh well with the portion of the backstage they made. The color difference would look a bit odd, and besides, the playset is big enough to get into packaging as it is. :P

Pretty much, I'd say. This one shows more surprise than some due to the head position than some which also show a hint of annoying surprise.

Though I doubt it would do well, a teen EM series would have been kinda cool. You could really build a story around the EM and their lives in high school. Each one has different personalities that would make for an interesting series in that setting, with their band being an out-of-school...

It would have been a nice idea if they had the entire EM as recurring characters in a little band, and often recruited the Muppet Babies to be their audience for new songs and stuff. Would be a nice way to incorporate some EM-esque music into things and add a little more variety to the show...

Hm, been so long since I've seen those that it's hard for me to comment, but I can see what you're saying. I can see, in some circumstances, that Wembley and Mokey could be switched, but then both characters bring new aspects to the table (Wembley's unsure-ness, Mokey's dreaminess).
