David Letterman is one of the few things we get here in Australia late at night on TV and they are usually pretty current too. I don't think its that funny but its ok for very late night entertainment when nothing else is on apart from home shopping etc. I havent seen the show for a while...

I'm not sure about that but try searching for info about the DVD player on the internet or if you can come across a cheap region 2 or 4 DVD try that and if it plays then most region 2 or 4 dvds should play.

If anyone wants the australian version of the DVD let me know, I can probably get if for you if we arrange a trade. it will be playable on dvd rom (with special software if needed) drives in the US aswell as PAL compatible tvs and DVD players.

The Muppet Show Music Album was also released in Australia as were most of the records that were released in the UK that werent released in the US. Just a minor correction to a post above!
