I tried to get a meetup going earlier this year in Sydney but it didnt take place, well it was just me and another person but mainly meeting as friends after lots of long phone conversations, not just a muppet meetup. I'm open to any meetups around the Sydney area. I'm also going to be in L.A...

I think a similar musical was done a few years ago here in Australia called Pan, it was the story of peter pan with Jim Hensons creature shop. I sadly didnt get to see it. One of the shows I really regret that I didnt see!

Thats a shame. I guess that means Australia won't see a release of the muppet show on DVD in the near future if they are discontinuing them in the US.

They are quite different to those though. Definately not the same moulds or anything. \I think I like these ones better because Rowlf is included.

They have been out for a while now but they are great figures. I didnt know these were still available.

Do you actually go to school where you have normal lessons for this? I have no idea because I dont think they have summer school here in Australia, atleast not around here or anywhere where I've been.

You certainly can find some crazy stuff in those cheap shops, most of the stuff is so poorly made. I saw some sesame street items a while back similar to the ones you mentioned. I even managed to find some puppets of George Bush, Osama Bin Laden, and Sadam Hussein. Has anyone seen these?

Are these on DVD yet in the UK? The time life ones that is.

Well It looks ok but I dont like the fact that it doesnt mention Jim Henson, he needs to be mentioned somewhere there.

No matter what happens they will always be Jim Hensons creations and Jim Hensons muppets no matter who owns them. Disney would have never created something as good as the muppets on there own so they shouldnt be called disneys muppets, maybe jim hensons muppets owned by disney, or something...
