I think honestly its not so much people publicly bashing but just surprised at some of the stuff that goes on. A few dodgy calls made lately have just been a bit more noticeable, just needs a bit of consistency. As you say, compared to other forums, things could be worse. :eek:

I had heard there were at least two Mobile Labs. They can have manual voice control or a few hundred programmed responses. I thought Dave and Steve both spent time down there recording all the responses and then spent more time down there walking it in the park on manual control .. but AFAIK...

I disagree ... these are the Muppets. The most famous puppets in history owned by Walt Disney. If the voice wasn't 100% and the puppetry wasn't perfect (as you say) IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ON PRIME TIME TV! Regardless of who did it, even if it had been Steve .. there needs to be quality...

From what i gather, performance itself was looped and Kermit walking upto the host was "as live". This is why it seems there is something more to it as Steve would have looped, its the usual practice when a performer isn't available.
