I have to agree with this part here. I too do the same. When i play video games, or writing a story... and in this case, building puppets. I want my full attention on the project at hand.

yea i think the whole desire to figure things out, is kind of essential. I've always felt that good puppetry is magic. Bringing to life something thats not, and creating illusions by any means to make the audience second guess if the puppet is alive or not.

Rowlf's nose is wooden. I'm pretty sure that i read once its wodden. I seen it in person and its REALLY smoothed out. So, if you're buiilding a replica... have some sandpaper ready lol

I won't argue your son's talent. However, why rush a show together? I've been doing theatre for 10 years and puppetry for 3. I've found so many shows fall apart with little time put into it. If your son is as good as you say, why doesn't he have a script prepared for occasions like such...

So sorry for getting back to you so late. No the 55mm isn't standard ping pong size. the 40mm ping pong is the standard size ball. You may have to shop around online for a 55mm... they're not common in stores.

his eyes might be about 55mm... not sure about his pupils tho :/... He doesnt like rulers anywhere near his eyes... but you'd be terrified too if you didnt have eye lids to protect your eyes :insatiable:
